Fantastic entertainment! You really got value for money on ITV in those days with quality stars and guest stars. TV today is about as entertaining as a mudslide with a cast list that barely rises above anonymity and mediocrity. And yes Anoushka Hempel is a stellar beauty. What happened to all the beautiful women like her?
Some nice outfits worn by Annouska Hempel all in just one episode! Rodgers and Gambon, starring together, very interesting, that's one for collectors to be sure. Shame Ep1 isn't available but I will watch Ep3 on the strength of this, thanks.
I love all of these studio bound drama's, The Sudio setting seems to add something to the proceedings. Anton Rogers wasn't at all bad looking, was he? Love the Zandra Rhodes-esque fashions.
Agreed. How on Earth did they find the kidnap victim? And they figured it was George Baker because Evian comes from Switzerland? I enjoyed it as it was a funny episode, but the ending was ludicrous!
I was very young in 74 and had no memory of this show, but it's actually quite fun and well written

Nice to see again. I was 16 in 1974. Annouska Hempel was the dog's b@ll@cks back then. The series had so much style, like so many others at the time.
