....... In Sept. 2017, They were first hit by Hurricane Irma, ... Many are unaware, that although the island suffered damage, they gathered themselves enough to bring in people from other islands that were more devastated, ... including NON U.S. islands.
These guests were housed at the Convention Center in San Juan .... Cruise Ships ferried them in ........ And they were provided shelter and food.
The people of Puerto Rico mobilized what little they had to help others even when they were hurt.
A week later, Hurricane Maria Hit, and thousands lost their lives AFTER THE STORM HAD PASSED.
TODAY, the American Citizens of Puerto Rico are again being tested again ... HELP THEM.

@@Chuleta_9 PR was not the shining jewel of the Western Hemisphere before or after colonization by the Spanish. Atleast with the US they pay near zero federal taxes, enjoy citizenship to travel to all US states and territories and literally get all govt benefits housing, food stamps, Medicaid which a ton of people on the island are on. Vote for independence then and self govern. Watch PR turn into Cuba or Venezuela overnight. Even the people on the island admit that. There needs to be more accountability by the PR people for their own government, education, and sexual education because even today there are still massive amounts of pregnancies by young mothers incapable of supporting themselves without government assistance with multiple fathers.
