Great video! I would like to add one small advise to new drivers in Canada. If you meet with an accident/collision, please head over to your nearest collision centre and get it reported. It's a fairly easy and hassle free task but can spare you from a lot of adversity in the long run. Speaking from my friend's personal experience here in Mississauga(He got into a lot trouble because of not doing this).

Buy a set of Michelin CrossClimate 'All-Weather' tires (from Kal Tire, or Canadian Tire). They are almost as good as winter tires, but they can be used all year long, not just in the winter months. This then means you don't have to buy a separate set of winter tires and rims.

Winter tyres and still better for driving in the winter there. Just because the all weather tyres meet the most basic requirements for snowflake and mountain symbol doesn’t mean they’re good.

Sadly you learned the importance of winter snow tyres the hard way.
True. But not entirely true. When its flat ice. Nothing can prevent skidding. It was downhill + ice. Even winter tires wont be able to stop if driver is not early reacting.
But yes you are absolutely right. I learnt my lesson the hard way. I hope my experience can be helpful for many others. Thank for your input. Really appreciate it.

But recently hearing that these assault, robberies have spread across the city making it unsafe, especially for women.
