Maybe Barry died when they were young and so they just acted like kids and their minds never aged up or something when he died. Look at the Widows, they spent most of the movie arguing like Toddlers having a Temper tantrums especially Yelena and even in Hawkeye Yelena still doesn't acted like a Adult would have until after her fight with Clint.

Why the series just keep reusing the same technique of story telling by messing up the timeline a lot. I can't even wrap my head around all these changes At least this Nora is more logical thinking than the previous version
