Guys um... movies don't vanish after they're out of cinemas. There are thousands of DVDs with perfectly respectable movies on them from as far back as the 1920s!
you should never fear. you already know how the world is moving. right now you can build a nice video library (whilst you still can.) of your choice for your child's entertainment. don't depend on tv exec's to do it for you. my 3 daughters are grown now. I believe my wife and I raised them right. their grandparents helped too. now I have 1 granddaughter and all I can do is hope and pray that my daughter will keep her mind clear of all this woke culture and preschool sexual identity being pushed. that I'll do my best to help as long as my daughter wants and will accept it. I hope this new entertainment channel works out.

They've created 4 original shows so far. Additionally, many animated European shows are licensed to the service, from Spain, France, Germany and others, so it's no wonder the content is of high quality. All the shows so far on the service are perfect for children with different styles of animation, different stories and settings - it all looks great.

We've waited a couple of years since the announcement, and finally seeing it in front of me, I almost cried. The "Once Upon a Time" lyrics are great on a number of levels. On the story level, you've got Snow, exiled to the enchanted forest, thinking that she'll never find her prince now and on the meta level, you've got that sad sort of nostalgia for the wholesome magic of the old Disney. But the unspoken reality that's sort of left hanging in the air is that neither of those things are truly lost. They're just not where we used to look for them anymore. The Prince is still coming for her and the the old magic of our ancient stories has found a new home. Good on you and your team, Jeremy. I'm glad to support this effort.

My family decided to start supporting DW when Run Hide Fight came out and we wanted to see it. It wasn’t long after that you promised kids content and we couldn’t wait. We have added 2 more kids to the family in that time and now we finally could hand the older two the remote and say “you can watch anything on this channel you want, mom and dad don’t have to watch it first” and they just about exploded with excitement. Thank you for making content we can trust!
My first reaction to this is "Oh my goodness this app looks so colorful, my students would love this." I work in education and I think this app seems so fun. Also $99 a year seems very reasonably priced. It's not crazy overpriced and I appreciate that. Brett is such a good role model for young women and her voice is beautiful, I am so excited she's playing Snow White.
I like the idea behind Bentkey and their direction to kids content but must say the $99 pitch lacks strategy. They need to attract customers at this point with a subscription scheme that's about $29.99 to begin with or at least the first year launch special and then subsequent year you pay $59.99. This introductory scheme will pull people in, make them signup easily and think later whether they want to keep renewing. $5 off on auto renewals so that you are kind of locked in. Prices can be revisited few years later same way as Netflix we are paying $19 compared to $6 that we started with. $99 is edgy and will throw off most people are you are looking for content in the region of Paramount+, HBO, Prime, and Disney as well. Snow white not so sure, I like Brett in her comments/shorts but then a movie is a challenging role to be at. Its a sum of various parts not just appearance and voice. I get it the bar is low nowadays comparing to Disney and hence I want this to succeed by all means.

I don't think so. As good as it is to have an alternative to Disney, most people (at least initially) are going to see this as political, no matter how anodyne they try to be with the content... And most people just don't care enough about the culture wars. They'll just put on whatever kids show on whatever channel or take them to whatever Disney movie. This isn't going to even make a dent in Disney. What it needs to do is focus on surviving, so it can remain as a viable alternative for kids' entertainment. Focus on the smaller market first. Carve out a niche, and survive. Being "big" is something they won't be... The streaming world is cutthroat as it is. They need to just exist.

It would just solidify that Bluey is appropriate for families that lean more conservative. That being said, I doubt they could get it anyways since it's probably a rights issue and Disney would never allow a big money maker to be aired anywhere else.

The animation looked so nostalgic for me and it reminded me of the old shows on Disney Junior and PBS Kids like Max and Ruby, Little Bill, Super Why, Little Bear, and more. Not to mention when he spoke about the Saturday morning shows, memories in the back recesses of my mind came back. I'm so happy for this endeavor the DailyWire is embarking on, it gives me hope for the future of kids growing up. And I hope to use Bentkey when I'm older and have kids. I know they'll be safe watching shows made by Bentkey.

Chip Chilla is seriously adorable! I'm a pre-k worker and aunt... and I get tired of kids content sometimes. But I just watched like 5 episodes in a row for FUN. Its wholesome, silly, funny, just a bit educational, and so creative! Mabel and Kid Explorer seem promising too, for the right audiences.
Check out Summer Camp Island, Bluey, and Pocoyo too~ Pocoyo is less exciting for adults but at the same time, so calming and less stressful than most modern cartoons.

Even though I don't have kids, if I had the extra money to spare, I would definitely pay for this even if I never had an interest in consuming any of the content, except maybe the occasional movie. Let's all hope (and especially pray) that this pays off in spades as it's something our culture (especially our youth) definitely needs right now !
As someone who doesn't live in the US, I frankly don't care about any sociopolitical whatnot. I just want good stories. This approach to shows and movies sounds better than what established studios are offering right now.

I thought the childhood I grew up with was stolen from the next generation with the downward spiral of PBS and Disney. I wondered what the kids I care about were going to be able to grow up with. My stepson wanted to watch Elemental, and it broke my heart that I actually had to say No about a Pixar movie because it doesn’t align with our family values and I just don’t want him to be drowned in their woke ideologies. Plus, it was a crappy movie on its own merits. Never did I think I’d have to screen PIXAR.

I would love to see some teen and preteen content, probably the MOST pivotal time in a child's life, to combat the woke indoctrination they are bombarded with. How can we submit show ideas?
Teens and preteens are really into TikTok unfortunately…I’m not sure they’re watching tv shows or movies as much as they used to….so I think if you want to reach your teens and preteens listen to daily wire podcasts, or even timcast irl, and other podcasts with them in the car or where ever and have a conversation about the issues being discussed, and allow them to talk to you openly about it, and tell them how you feel. It also might be worthwhile to introduce them to some good books!
My 10 year old daughter doesn't do tiktok or Media. She loves reading and watching anything educational and so much more...so YES there are still preteens and teens who are like this. I hope they start doing this!!
If they're making something like The Pendragon Cycle tv show (released in 2024, and definitely not for kiddos), then they're probably thinking of and working to produce other things too. I don't know what they have available upon the launch of Bentkey, but given time I'm positive they will make more and more things of different genres for different ages and audiences.
I know so many books for that age group that would make great movies or shows: - _The Sherwood Ring_ by Elizabeth Marie Pope. It's got the American Revolution, mystery, romance, humor, and ghosts. - _The Perilous Gard_ by the same author. Fun, poignant spooky Halloween story with a brave heroine, dashing hero, and mysterious faery folk in Tudor England. - The No Ordinary Fairytale series by R.J. Anderson. (Needs a catchier title but the stories are great). Faeries and humans in modern England learn important lessons and make great sacrifices to save those dear to them. Lots of adventure, clean romance, and wonderful messages of redemption. Christian fiction with a lot of faerie lore and aesthetics - Brian Froud did the original cover art - that fans of _Labyrinth_ will love. - _Kidnapped_ and _Catriona_ by Robert Louis Stevenson. The classic of adventure and rebellion in 18th century Scotland.
You can’t imagine the wave of relief that came over me when I realized I finally had something I could show my future children without worry. And Brett Cooper as Snow White?!!! I’ll need to get a subscription even before I have my first child, just to see that movie!

When my husband and I told our kids that we were not going to renew our Disney+ subscription, there was much whining and complaining. This announcement could not have come at a better time! We watched some of the free episodes to sample it and they are in love with the shows! Thank you for providing kids content that is not full of political agendas and can just focus on the wonder of being a kid. Can I also say that I am super pumped for this new Snow White. Go Brett!!!
The commercials for Jeremy's Razors and Jeremy's Chocolates were halarious and I was there for it. I just couldn't financially justify the subscriptions. Disney effects my kids though and I would do just about anything for them. I CAN justify this subscription and will be making the plunge. Make great content for my boys and I'll continue to subscribe every year.
I really hope your vision becomes a reality and your platform grows as much or more than what Disney has. My 4 yo. grandson is loving the shows on Bent Key. He has not asked for Disney or TH-cam kid shows since watching the new shows. He’s a big fan of Chip Chilla. As a Daily Wire member, Bent Key membership is part of that membership as well.
As much as I support the Daily Wire and what they do, I don't trust them to make quality kids content. Mostly because I see a lot of people on the Daily Wire team who believe kids content should be made only for kids, and adult content should be made for adults and never the two shall meet. Basically, I don't expect them to make anything thought provoking or deep enough for the adults, but simultaneously made in a way kids will enjoy too. Whatever my kids are watching, I want it to be something that makes them think, and something I can watch with them without being bored and cringing. Walt Disney said it best. "You are a dead man if you aim only for kids. Adults are just kids grown up anyway."

Guys um... movies don't vanish after they're out of cinemas. There are thousands of DVDs with perfectly respectable movies on them from as far back as the 1920s!

you should never fear. you already know how the world is moving. right now you can build a nice video library (whilst you still can.) of your choice for your child's entertainment. don't depend on tv exec's to do it for you. my 3 daughters are grown now. I believe my wife and I raised them right. their grandparents helped too. now I have 1 granddaughter and all I can do is hope and pray that my daughter will keep her mind clear of all this woke culture and preschool sexual identity being pushed. that I'll do my best to help as long as my daughter wants and will accept it. I hope this new entertainment channel works out.

They've created 4 original shows so far. Additionally, many animated European shows are licensed to the service, from Spain, France, Germany and others, so it's no wonder the content is of high quality. All the shows so far on the service are perfect for children with different styles of animation, different stories and settings - it all looks great.

The "Once Upon a Time" lyrics are great on a number of levels. On the story level, you've got Snow, exiled to the enchanted forest, thinking that she'll never find her prince now and on the meta level, you've got that sad sort of nostalgia for the wholesome magic of the old Disney. But the unspoken reality that's sort of left hanging in the air is that neither of those things are truly lost. They're just not where we used to look for them anymore. The Prince is still coming for her and the the old magic of our ancient stories has found a new home.

My family decided to start supporting DW when Run Hide Fight came out and we wanted to see it. It wasn’t long after that you promised kids content and we couldn’t wait. We have added 2 more kids to the family in that time and now we finally could hand the older two the remote and say “you can watch anything on this channel you want, mom and dad don’t have to watch it first” and they just about exploded with excitement.

My first reaction to this is "Oh my goodness this app looks so colorful, my students would love this." I work in education and I think this app seems so fun. Also $99 a year seems very reasonably priced. It's not crazy overpriced and I appreciate that.
Brett is such a good role model for young women and her voice is beautiful, I am so excited she's playing Snow White.
I like the idea behind Bentkey and their direction to kids content but must say the $99 pitch lacks strategy. They need to attract customers at this point with a subscription scheme that's about $29.99 to begin with or at least the first year launch special and then subsequent year you pay $59.99. This introductory scheme will pull people in, make them signup easily and think later whether they want to keep renewing. $5 off on auto renewals so that you are kind of locked in. Prices can be revisited few years later same way as Netflix we are paying $19 compared to $6 that we started with. $99 is edgy and will throw off most people are you are looking for content in the region of Paramount+, HBO, Prime, and Disney as well. Snow white not so sure, I like Brett in her comments/shorts but then a movie is a challenging role to be at. Its a sum of various parts not just appearance and voice. I get it the bar is low nowadays comparing to Disney and hence I want this to succeed by all means.

I don't think so. As good as it is to have an alternative to Disney, most people (at least initially) are going to see this as political, no matter how anodyne they try to be with the content... And most people just don't care enough about the culture wars. They'll just put on whatever kids show on whatever channel or take them to whatever Disney movie. This isn't going to even make a dent in Disney. What it needs to do is focus on surviving, so it can remain as a viable alternative for kids' entertainment.
Focus on the smaller market first. Carve out a niche, and survive. Being "big" is something they won't be... The streaming world is cutthroat as it is. They need to just exist.

The animation looked so nostalgic for me and it reminded me of the old shows on Disney Junior and PBS Kids like Max and Ruby, Little Bill, Super Why, Little Bear, and more. Not to mention when he spoke about the Saturday morning shows, memories in the back recesses of my mind came back. I'm so happy for this endeavor the DailyWire is embarking on, it gives me hope for the future of kids growing up. And I hope to use Bentkey when I'm older and have kids. I know they'll be safe watching shows made by Bentkey.

Chip Chilla is seriously adorable! I'm a pre-k worker and aunt... and I get tired of kids content sometimes. But I just watched like 5 episodes in a row for FUN. Its wholesome, silly, funny, just a bit educational, and so creative! Mabel and Kid Explorer seem promising too, for the right audiences.
Check out Summer Camp Island, Bluey, and Pocoyo too~ Pocoyo is less exciting for adults but at the same time, so calming and less stressful than most modern cartoons.
Chip Chilla is a subpar rip-off of Bluey with none of the charm.

As someone who doesn't live in the US, I frankly don't care about any sociopolitical whatnot. I just want good stories. This approach to shows and movies sounds better than what established studios are offering right now.

My stepson wanted to watch Elemental, and it broke my heart that I actually had to say No about a Pixar movie because it doesn’t align with our family values and I just don’t want him to be drowned in their woke ideologies. I would love to see some teen and preteen content, probably the MOST pivotal time in a child's life, to combat the woke indoctrination they are bombarded with. How can we submit show ideas?
Teens and preteens are really into TikTok unfortunately…I’m not sure they’re watching tv shows or movies as much as they used to….so I think if you want to reach your teens and preteens listen to daily wire podcasts, or even timcast irl, and other podcasts with them in the car or where ever and have a conversation about the issues being discussed, and allow them to talk to you openly about it, and tell them how you feel. It also might be worthwhile to introduce them to some good books!

If they're making something like The Pendragon Cycle tv show (released in 2024, and definitely not for kiddos), then they're probably thinking of and working to produce other things too. I don't know what they have available upon the launch of Bentkey, but given time I'm positive they will make more and more things of different genres for different ages and audiences.
I know so many books for that age group that would make great movies or shows:
- _The Sherwood Ring_ by Elizabeth Marie Pope. It's got the American Revolution, mystery, romance, humor, and ghosts.
- _The Perilous Gard_ by the same author. Fun, poignant spooky Halloween story with a brave heroine, dashing hero, and mysterious faery folk in Tudor England.
- The No Ordinary Fairytale series by R.J. Anderson. (Needs a catchier title but the stories are great). I'm so happy about this, I cant even 😍 finding safe stuff for my kids is such a chore and considering I grew up loving my country, it's so depressing to know our society has become so unbearably corrupt and unsafe for the children I would die to protect.

When my husband and I told our kids that we were not going to renew our Disney+ subscription, there was much whining and complaining. This announcement could not have come at a better time!
We watched some of the free episodes to sample it and they are in love with the shows! Thank you for providing kids content that is not full of political agendas and can just focus on the wonder of being a kid.

The commercials for Jeremy's Razors and Jeremy's Chocolates were halarious and I was there for it. I just couldn't financially justify the subscriptions. Disney effects my kids though and I would do just about anything for them. I CAN justify this subscription and will be making the plunge. Make great content for my boys and I'll continue to subscribe every year.
I really hope your vision becomes a reality and your platform grows as much or more than what Disney has.

I’m excited for this because it’s so hard to find new kids movies that aren’t pushing something. Every movie has SOMETHING in it now, it’s getting ridiculous just to enjoy a normal movie.

My 4 yo. grandson is loving the shows on Bent Key. He has not asked for Disney or TH-cam kid shows since watching the new shows. He’s a big fan of Chip Chilla. As a Daily Wire member, Bent Key membership is part of that membership as well.
As much as I support the Daily Wire and what they do, I don't trust them to make quality kids content. Mostly because I see a lot of people on the Daily Wire team who believe kids content should be made only for kids, and adult content should be made for adults and never the two shall meet.
Basically, I don't expect them to make anything thought provoking or deep enough for the adults, but simultaneously made in a way kids will enjoy too. Whatever my kids are watching, I want it to be something that makes them think, and something I can watch with them without being bored and cringing.
Walt Disney said it best. "You are a dead man if you aim only for kids. Adults are just kids grown up anyway."
