    The best cars at the show were the DB11, Bugatti Chiron and the Koenigsegg Regera.
    I really felt like beating up all the rude people who were interfering with your video shoot...can't they see Autogefuhl is making another masterpiece? Anyway you kept your cool and sacrificed for us subscribers.

    I like what they have done with the DB11 in terms of moving the design forward, yet still keeping the design cues with the front grill and rear tail lights. The infotainment and electronics have been brought up to date with help from Mercedes Benz, but I do not like thre digital speedo.
    One great innovation on this car, are the side air scoops in the C pillars which channel air to vents in the rear wing, helping to produce down force and reduce its size.
    The 5.2 litre V12 bi turbo engine was designed by Aston Martin and will be joined by AMG V8 engines in the future.

    Great preview, as always. I really think this is a game changer for Aston Martin, and I'm really excited for the collaboration with Mercedes, only good things can come from that. My favourite car from this motor show, except perhaps the Huayra BC, but that is in another league, can't even afford to dream about it.

    Sublime, is perfect if we exclude those parts of MB origin in the interior. The db11 has different design cues that are reminiscent of the db4 and db5, without being retro, evolves the design of Aston Martin. Aston Martin does the most beautiful british cars cause it's design language, is of italian descent, since cars like db4 and db5 which were designed by the likes of Touring Milano and Zagato. They evolved this language that is like the italian GT's of the 50's into a modern design language combining it with british style and taste and is the only high end british manufacturer with a sense of class, which Rolls Royce and Bentley lack since they were bought by german groups.

    Impressive!
    The instrument cluster not so much.
    Thomas, does anyone ever choose those wild exterior paint colours?
    I rarely see them on any models where I live.
    I always wonder if they're designed more for show/marketing the product.

    I think the cutaway car was a better selling tool than seeing the finished car. Thomas, do you know if the use of the adhesive for the panels, has proven advantageous in crash impact strength over traditional fastening and/or heat welding?

    Playfull in the back and sides... .the same 'yes it's nice but what's new?' front we know all to well. After the latest Vulcan i would have hoped the nose would be sharper and more stunning really. Ah well maybe the big change comes with the collaboration between AMG and Aston Martin. Maybe the current V12 engines are to big for the nose to become leaner and sharper and still have some groundclearance as well. Anyhow a very good looking car and love the One-77 reference on the shoulders, very wide and very stunning imo. To Autogefühl: The camera is walking around to much and shooting parts of the car not being commented. It's obviously busy but still, not used to seeing this from you guys. keep up the good work!!

    When I've been looking to this DB11 video, my statement was: probably have been hiding some new hi tech weapons, inside the car, for the new James Bond movie.

    The design language does not flow as in previous Astons. I expected more elegance.

    Why no one cares about rear seat?

    • @mareo187
      @mareo187 8 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      in most coupes or gts, rear seats usually serve as space for packaging like placing any luggage you want. You can sit in the back but its only for people who are very small or for kids.
      I didn't heard reviews of the back seat of this car yet but they are some coupes who have massive space like the mustangs and the challenger.

    Rear end is too busy. Real beauty is found in simplicity like in the 007 DB10, this however...not so much.

      +Peugeot 905 I like it also it does look futuristic

  • @Phos9
    @Phos9 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    That floating roofline does this car no favors. Rear end looks like a bunch of scribbles, and considering how people design cars nowadays, probably not far off from the truth. Front end is the same but more scowley (gotta chase the trend I guess), but man that lower grill ain't right (just looks like the car's nose has been undercut), and those hood vents just seem randomly dotted around.
    Oh god capacitive buttons for climate, what the hell. Seriously wondering if the interior designers have ever driven a car. Same weird push button shifter thing in the middle of the dash, still not a good idea.

    • @kevintoth5365
      @kevintoth5365 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      hmm. I think this car looks amazing. Every detail you've touched on looks fresh and exciting.

    • @Phos9
      @Phos9 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really, cause I feel like that undercut grill Aston's been doing just looks bad, like they wanted to graft on a more aggressive lower fascia (chasing that trend) and the only way they could think of doing it was to just put a hole there, and the new headlights don't fit at all.

  • @Ahsonloh1213
    @Ahsonloh1213 8 ปีที่แล้ว

    I think the camera man has got to improve his skills. For example at 7:42, Thomas is presenting and talking about the centre consol and yet you are filming the front of the car. Perhaps you might want to film the thing that he is presenting...
