A man has been rescued from his submerged car after major flooding impacts Ingham Queensland. Captured on 2nd Feb 2025 by Peggy & Shania Popple. Licensing available via www.severeweather.com.au
I was rescued during the floods in Holloways Beach just over a year ago. In the total hours of darkness, it was a massive mission for these guys and gals. Turning out to be a extremely dangerous mission involving swift waters in our streets. Mainly the elderly, and children were the ones calling for help. And the off loading of people onto a roof that was a designated pickup, for the final journey, out of Holloways Beach. Then a slow trip but extremely dangerous trip by rubber duck across swollen creeks, drains, cow paddocks, etc, to get to Barron River bridge. But it never ended there, having to cross the swollen river bridge by foot. A chain of people ( police, ambulance, fire, and civilians) helped everyone one by one across the bridge. It was a night that everyone will not forget. Know I won’t. But things could of went wrong or bad or disastrous !?!? But the professionalism of these people, it is extremely appreciated. GOD BLESS THEM ALL … THINKING OF ALL YOU SURROUNDING TOWNSVILLE 🙏

Omg every town needs a arc.. This is sad 😢😢
Insurance companies should deny claims of idiots that drive into flood waters intentionally.
Lucky to be alive I think, doesn't take much to get sucked into a storm water drain or impaled on something sharp under the water
How many times is the ad on TV if it's flooded forget it. Dumb dumb dumb.
Well your right that was pretty dumb and now immortalised forever also 😂 glad hes okay.
