I’ll be ur number 1. What u have done here is probably okay, but may I suggest for this type of filter when ur using a high pressure nozzle like this u start from the inside & blow all the dust out first in reverse airflow direction so ur not deeply impregnating the filter with any of the present dust, so start in a reverse airflow direction, then from the other side & repeat once or twice & maybe giving it a light tap on something a couple of times to help impart some of the dust, etc. I often just use one of my blowers (petrol & battery powered) to blow out my filters, I should probably use a compressor more often but this seems to work ok, I have mainly round type filters, so I give them a light blow off & then I’ll put the filter over the end of the blower & tap it lightly on the deck to help loosen & blow the dust out in a reverse flow direction while reving the blower up.
