I think it is worth the price , di crowded only few could afford the tour and the room accomodation. great for cultural tours. daming bago tayo houses, wala masyado puno kayamainit. We booked 2 nights with free buffet breakfast that's cool na rin and have to pay extra for kalesa ride, balsa ride which is not included in the overnight stay. ganda naman makita old traditional houses.
In my opinion, Historical hotels have significant costs related to maintenance, restoration, and adherence to preservation standards. Although it's understandable that travellers want to save money on accommodations, it's important to recognise that cheaper prices could compromise these hotels' ability to cover these costs and provide a quality experience. To manage foot traffic and preserve the property's integrity, measures such as limited bookings or guided tours are essential. Due to preservation, restoration, and compliance with heritage standards, historical hotels have limited availability and unique experiences, making it challenging to offer cheaper overnight stays.
u r paying for the experience so I don't think it should be compared to the prices of the new modern ones in the main cities. As for the services and amenities, i think it is more because it is still a work in progress, they have not finessed their process, but since they r already charging for that much, guests should not be shortchanged with services and the comfort needed to make the experience more rounded.
Nakakasuya tignan at di mo ma appreciate yung view.
I can understand the expensiveness because it's supposed to be world class plus it's a 3 star hotel and probably on it's way to becoming a 5 star hotel .. I think it's a good splurge once a year if you really want to go or just do the historical tour, I heard it's cheap
Well,You have to be there more than just once I guess. The magic of the balsa ride@ night & there are more than just 2 restaurants by the way.The rooms, maybe a notch higher than regular rooms-we've never experienced no hot water.I suggest to go on a weekday. You can just walk the whole time around Las Casas besides the initial check in with luggages@ tow.Hope your next time will be a more accurate description of Las Casas.
If you are worldwide traveler and you constantly travel with guided tours, this inconvenience you experienced it's not very pleasing especially if you're paying stiff price 😢.

Went to visit this place with my wife and son a few years back. At the entrance, we were told the charge per person is 3k. My wife and son had been there before so it was just me who had not seen the place and it was too costly for me to shed 9k so we turned back.
this is sooo honest! I was planning to go here on my birthday, day tour lang kase i heard super pricey ang room rates at matatatkutin ako so wag nalang hehe mainam po siguro na mag hanap nalang ng transient sa labas. 😄
Nagpunta kami doon last week, ang mahal ng accommodation. Mahal lahat. Inabot kami ng gutom at uhaw. Walang mabilhan ng food and drinks. Closed lahat. Limited time lang nag oopen and dalawang resto (Filipino and Italian).
