- We are talking about 5 haunted locations in Oklahoma that you've probably never heard of before.
I don't know about you, but I was pretty shocked at just how many haunted locations, scary stories, urban legends, and haunted houses there are in the Sooner State!
Our top list of haunted places in Oklahoma includes the Purple Church in Spencer, Beaver Dunes Park (also known as the Shama's Portal and Oklahoma's Bermuda Triangle), Blanchard Cemetery in Blanchard, the Parallel Forest in Lawton, and Fort Washita in Durant.

I appreciate this because I’m always wondering about the history of unknown places in this state
Fort WASH-ih-taw and CHIK-ih-saw.
Thank you!
Two chickens and a duck. 2 chickens and a duck
Have you heard of these haunted Oklahoma locations before? They were new to me!
Guthrie's Masonic Children’s Home is a very creepy place too.
I will have to look into that one!
Yep! Drove into the grounds once years ago. Not a place I’d want to spend time.
The forest is a test plot to study tree growth, in specific soil types. And learn to pronounce Washita
Thank you for the feedback!
I lived in Lawton, Oklahoma for twenty years and I have never heard of that forest before.
It’s a really weird forest, but I think the weirdest part is how little information there is on why they put it there. There are theories but I couldn’t find anything concrete one way or the other.
Seriously? You're like 10 miles away. It's by lake Lawtonka
Boring 😞!!!
