You could get more mileage from the string sandpaper if you hold the loose end with pliers and just hold the roll in the other hand. Then when done, you just cut behind the used section and you save 2 inches. Hope this helps, really like the info you provide.

After I did this I found out about a 97 special edition of my ebony with gold trim ebony fretboard Studio that came with some humbucker sized P90's and special stickers stating some anniversary model. I don't think that's what mine was but don't really know. It's been too used for too long to care about originality.

Gave I hope you do a video on the Les Paul junior you showed yesterday cuz I own the exact guitar I don't know if it's an Apple phone or a Gibson but I love that guitar and I'd love to see you work on it they are cool little guitars my words very well and I love the sound of it too like I said I've only been playing for 9 months but I was watching a video of a guy teaching some blue stuff and then there was a backing track at the end of the video to play to and I played to it a couple times and it sounds so good I recorded it I wish there was a way to send it to you the recording cuz it came out pretty goddamn good I impressed the shit out of myself I was in the zone dude it sounds real good i let my friend here it hes like Johnny Ray Vaughan that's what he called me joking around cuz my name is John I let my daughter and my daughter's mother listen to it they loved it my grandchildren loved it I had to let everybody hear it you know I'm on my way bro an old man teaching himself to play guitar and I'm progressing very well and loving it anyway if you still have that Les Paul junior hopefully you make a video with it

70's Les Pauls are the ones you want if you're looking to own a somewhat affordable one. It's less of a roll of the dice than anything from the 90's to (especially) present day. They still have serious QC issues - or at least that's what the guitar techs/repairers that I know have been telling me. I got to see a few of the ones they were talking about with the QC issues. It was disturbing. I became a guitarist BECAUSE OF Gibson. Sad to see the state they're in (and people making excuses for it).
