I just wish there was an easier way to get a new savestate of your current corruption at a new area into the stockpile. You have to get to the area, make a savestate, set the intensity to 1, corrupt it again even though you don't actually want to corrupt it more, and then put *that* from the stash into the stockpile. There should be a button to just save the state directly to the stockpile, or even to the stash.

If you're going for extreme results, don't get used to stability. You will encounter a lot of crashes. There is no single answer to this because each game is different. If you're trying to get specific effects, you'll just have to keep trying different engine settings, domains, and sometimes even savestate timings until you get them by chance. Once you find them, you could try to make VMDs (an advanced tool I've never really attempted myself yet) based around the effect's location in memory to try to get more of them. But really it all comes down to the random chance in the end. However, I do advise that you try sanitizing your blasts more often. Some interesting effects may be hidden behind unwanted messy effects.
@@MechanizedDragonWorkshop i’ve been trying different settings, it doesn’t work. The only thing that happens without a stretched out screen is the sky. The game always becomes unplayable
What do you mean by "doesn't work"? If it gives you an error when you start the emulation, it probably means your ISO file is corrupted or similarly broken, so you may need to rip it from your console again and give it another try. If the emulation plays but the graphics or audio don't look right, try playing with your graphics or audio settings in Dolphin until you get something that works. If none of the above answer your question, you should probably visit the RTC Dev Discord server, for which I put a link in the description of the video.

I know I'm really late but I'm trying to get Wii games working but when I try to run one it just crashes and I can't even launch the Wii menu. A little help i could use?
If this is Dolphin you're talking about, you'll need to run the game at least once to create proper save file folders for your game. After save data has been created, you can close your emulation and load your saves. I believe you right click on the game in the Dolphin window, select the option that says something like "open save data location", and copy-paste your save data into the folder, making sure the file names all look the same and everything. If that doesn't work, try using Dolphin's function that allows you to import save data. It's been a while since I've used Dolphin, so apologies if I got anything wrong in this response.
You don't! The WGH has long been deprecated. What you need is FileStub, which works in the same way but better! Just don't corrupt online games or vital system files with it.

Hmm, this process should be nearly identical for GameCube, because Dolphin supports GameCube and Wii. (Bizhawk is less similar in the settings that you use, but the basic processes of savestates and corrupting should be the same.) If Dolphin simply crashes when you try to boot a game, it probably means your game files are corrupted or similarly broken.
