  • This video shows Various types of Emergency Service Vehicles responding with their blue lights and sirens flashing/sounding. The Metropolitan Police and the London Ambulance Service were extremely busy this weekend, they dealt with extreme amounts of Public Order, from assaults, aggressive behaviour and many other occurrences. Many people were murdered, stabbed, and injured, a Police Horse died, so I pay my respects to everyone who died, family relatives and the Police Service for their amazing work during these major events!

Bloody awful killing a horse and so many people ... and I can't believe how people in London just totally ignore the "blues and twos" on all these vehicles! But you know if it was their house they'd be raising bloody hell about the delays!

2001 Public Order Vans? Where? Saw some 61 plate which is 2011.

Your title is a bit misleading. There was no actual footage of the Notting Hill Carnival. The video was showing emergency services at work in London at the time of the carnival. The Public Order Vans (boxy silver Mercs with red/orange stripe) at 6.05 are '61'reg plates which indicates they were 2011 vintage rather than 2001. I did not see any older police vans in your video.

Yes sorry, my mistake about 2001, meant 2011. Also most of the Vehicles filmed at Marble Arch were going to the Carnival, heading the way towards, most stuff filmed outside of Marble Arch in this video were other responses.

As far as I am aware there was one fatal stabbing and an older police horse passed away so the description is misleading.
Agreed too many people including emergency service personnel were injured at what should have been a great event.

Marble Arch is literally the other side of Notting Hill. The police were there, all of these vehicles at Marble Arch were for Notting hill, and the Euston ones was just a scene that I came across.

@@BlueLightSpotters But some of the vehicles included on here, were spotted at the end of the Finchley Road, entering and around Marble Arch and driving away in the totally opposite direction of Notting Hill, on Blues and Two's. There were the odd few caught in other parts of London, but nowhere near Notting Hill.
Though the images were great, the title is barely correct; if you'd physically been on the ground at the event viewing Emergency vehicles arriving, assembling and leaving, the title would have been far more worthy.
