This is a very good programme with Khaiyyam Saab and his wife singer Jagjit Kaur. I am a very big fan of Khaiyyam Saab's music. I have the collection of his each and every songs from Heer Ranjha (I948) to present. His music is very soft and with good quality poetry. Orchestration is not heavy but very unique and distinct. He can be compared with RC Boral, Pankaj Malik, Anil Biswas, Khemchand Prakash, Shyam Sundar, Naushad, O.P. Nayyar, Shankar Jaikishan etc but his style of music is still distinct and different. Dil ko Sukoon milne wala. Bhagwan aap dono ko bahut lambi umra de. Aap ke nek kaam ke liya mera salute. Irafan saab ko million thanks.

On 28 July 2019, Khayyam was admitted to Sujay Hospital in Juhu, Mumbai due to lung infection. He died on 19 August 2019 following a cardiac arrest at the age of 92.[24] He was buried the following day with full state honours
