  • Flopzilla Pro just came out, and in this video I demonstrate how to use it to see the equities of starting hand vs poker range and range vs range.
I also show you the nifty group filtering feature as well as the Equity Matrix to see how the different poker hands within you range stack up against your opponent's entire range.

I used to think James 'splitsuit' Sweeney was the nuts for this sort of thing (and I still love 'The Sween') but you are, without doubt, up there with him. Fantastic channel. Thanks for creating so much great content.

I can't use ctrl+alt+t to export range to text unfortunately. i've had to input ranges manually into templates while following your 66 days of hand reading. thanks for going over the software update!!!

I dont really understand range vs range equities and how it helps strategizing?

    • @SmartPokerStudy

Paying attention to how equities change as hands progress helps to develop an intuition for range vs range thinking which helps you make better decisions on the felt. In-game, I don't actually try to think about equity percentages. But, seeing common situations over and over and noticing how equities dip or increase should help me spot situations where I can bluff them off their hand because their range doesn't interact well with the board, help me fold when it's obvious their range crushes me and help me get value when I'm ahead of them.
