- Hi guys, it’s been one whole year since our first visit to this beautiful resort town. Salou still manages to attract a Huge amount of beach goers even officially reported that Spain lost 96% of its international tourists.(You can see the Beach Comparison between 2019 and 2020, both shot in August) I hope you enjoy this video no matter where you are. And stay safe.
Salou is a municipality of the comarca of Tarragonès, in the province of Tarragona, in Catalonia, Spain. The city is approximately 10 km from Tarragona and Reus on the Costa Daurada and 112 km from Barcelona. Aside from its string of beaches interrupted by rocky coves, and its landscaped promenade, one of its main attractions is the PortAventura World resort. The Dutch movie Costa! and the television series with the same title were both filmed in Salou.

Love Salou, I think it's the best resort in Spain.

No way, Spain is very big in coastal resorts. Salou is just one of them!
Just my opinion Maria, I have been to many Spanish resorts and yes I do think it is the best resort in Spain. I am only speaking how I feel and of course everybody has a different opinion.

Thanks Adam. I think it is necessary to have fear at this time. New cases pop up every single day. It's hard to avoid people when travelling, especially in public transportation.

I remember playing in that play area walking all around there every September 2 weeks so many good times

Salou has everything for everybody, but don’t tell too many people ‘cos we like a bit of space when we go back there. ❤️ So ✈️ and enjoy the 🏖

@@ireneseverova2369 Well, recently seems the second wave has hit several communities. Each community has different measures, work differently as well. I would say it's still not perfectly safe to travel. We're only making short trips in recent months. I hope this difficult situation could end soon.

These people were playing Russian roulette. I wonder how much sickness and death resulted from this foolhardy behavior in the middle of a pandemic? No one wants to acknowledge that the era of low-risk mass tourism is over, but they'll surely be reminded of it again this year.
Totally, actually when we published this episode on Facebook, there're many people thought it's fake, because they couldn't believe there could be that many people at the beach during the peak of the pandemic.
