Great walkthrough on getting started in Lightkey! I'm really new to lighting and our church set up is currently basic. Any chance for a video going through how to physically integrate toward using Lightkey? Like setting up the cables into the system.

I may do that, but it would be a bit before I make a video on it. I am glad to help with a walkthrough of that if you'd like. Email me at l55techconsulting@gmail.com and we can set up a time to talk.

Hello, this is a great video, our church also uses LightKey but really basic, could you help us set some things up on it?

Hi. If you want to shoot me an email, we could figure out what your needs are and how I might be able to help. l55techconsulting@gmail.com I also just did another video walking through more of my setup a bit more in depth. You can watch it here: th-cam.com/video/nGmgPjlxFXk/w-d-xo.html

hey does light key allow you to setup Songs with cues for each song? at the moment we are using light jockey and I can setup sequences (songs) and have a button for verse, chorus etc. From the videos I see its like you have to setup a lot of cues. Maybe what I am trying to ask is in the right column where you save your looks can you have the song Great things and click it to open all the cues for that song? Thanks for any advice!!

You can for sure set up multiple cues for each song. Create a library of songs in the preset panel on the right. And yes you could just fire the cues from that panel, but you can also insert them into your live window and fire from there. I started creating cues like this myself. Only reason I have not implemented them myself is because I am also using midi control from ProPresenter to run my lights. So the added cues mean added midi and added ways to screw up. But I do want to try this more elaborate version at some point.

@@JonathanHeadley thank you sir, we have had the same light software for 10 years so it’s a lot to take in to learn this and keep everything else up and running lol. Be blessed!
