Nibali was the last italian to win the TdF!!!
He misspoke. He was talking about Tadej winning both TdF and Giro which Pantani did in 98. Nibali did won the TDf in 2014 but didn't also win the Giro in the same year.
The presenter sounds a lot like the guy from the B1M channel. The accent, the cadence.
Dunno Fred has a much deeper voice IMO
I’m shocked I’ve found my niche who watch both, and yes I agree
Similar cadence, but the voice is not similar
Helpful introduction, thanks.
Personally I would say that Tadej is the best classics rider of his generation
classics, no. best all-rounder (gc and classics), yes
Van Aert and MVDP are better
@@jeremymajerus5341 depend pogi can win all 5 PR Is a question but he MOST likely can while we cant Say the same for the other 2. I would Say MVDP ahead of pogi and then wout but thi only because i consider flanders Paris roubeix and Sanremo as more "important" than Liegi and Lombardia
What!?!? The best rider of is génération PERIOD
@@jeremymajerus5341😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
I miss the team TT.
Nope, not at all.
T Shirt straight off the shelf
this is pleasant time and your pleasent video ! best
Very good summary
Vincenzo nibali was the last Italian to win the TDF
Is the TDF not finishing in Paris because of the Olympics?
yes
Yes... stage 1 should be quite good! Chris Horner speculates that Jonas will be pushed by the other GC teams to get a feel for how well he is, or unwell. I agree with that and can't wait to see how it unfolds.
Horner is the oldest Vuelta winner. Despite that, even after winning the Vuelta, no one wanted to hire him, can you guess why? I wouldn't take his KNUCKLEHEAD takes as actual insight.
@@faiznasruddin6596 You said it yourself... age. He was over 40 when he won the Vuelta. Not sure he was looking for another season versus retirement. He's not a bad guy. You don't need to like him but you reveal weakness when you let someone trigger you so badly. Did he F your wife or something?
good preview thanks
Here’s my GC prediction if no crashes and illnesses.
1. Pogacar is going to win if Jonas is not 100% or unable to race.
2. Roglic and Jorgensen would be fighting for 2nd position.
3. Unknown
Did you say Pantani is the last Italian rider to win the race (TdF)? What of 2014?
In 2022 they entirely omitted Vingegaard from their preview.
Pantani was the last who did the Giro-TdF double.
Great piece, thanks. For the Danish pronunciation say, Vin-gah-goh. It’s the closest we English speakers can come. 😅 🇩🇰
New crease t shirt going on there
Didn’t Vincenzo Nibali win the 2014 Tour? So Pantani wasn’t the last Italian winner?
The Tour isn't aired in India :(
Rabbobank against Saunier-Duval.
For the "free" you tube segments, I simply mute the audio and scroll down to read some comments until the banal dull drivel is over..
I don't see or hear the annoying ads, so the you tube ads are inconsequential, thanks you tube, you're so cash starved, I feel "bad".
Thanks Abu
Who will win the yellow jumper?
This year's tour is Really Disorganised, Some of the stages do not Represent Road Bikes at all, I actually expect some big names to drop out of the tour de france this year.
The best rider will win like every year
……. Really ??? How so ?
Let's get ready for the Big French Bike Ride! :D
When are they going to allow motors?
Nibali?
Festa junina? 🇧🇷
Great summary Sam. However, I should remind you that it is Sir Mark Cavendish now! Any chance the other riders might do the honour of "gifting" him a final stage win?😗
Hilarious, is this the British define sportsmanship in these days?
he was gifted final stage in giro last year as it was his last year then he didn't do nothing in le tour and after he said he wants another year
cavendish is a beggar if he expecting a stage as a gift
Sprinters aren’t built that way, especially this generation. Never happen.
I'm expecting chaos from day 1. Watch a lot of DNFs , big time gaps, punctures, crashes and upset riders.
Still, it will be entertaining. The riders wont like it though!
Why is Evanepoel always considered a GC contender when he always loses time on big mountain stages? He is great at one day races and TT's and obviously is world class, but come on, he should not be considered as a GC contender for tdf.
He did win the Giro. That's probably the main reason why.
@@sruo42 yeah thats fair, he won the vuelta* which is one of the big three , but no real favourites were riding.
MDVP is the best
How can this guy not mention Tour de Suisse UAE domination 👀
You have now the name of the team for TDF..
Vingegaard is the better tour rider over pogacar
Yet doesn’t have the miles in his legs
V won’t be in full shape till approx stage 8-10. Then watch out
Hence p must attack get at least 3 min on v in stages 1-10
Even when v finds his legs by stage 10 he’s at big risk, b c tho in shape not enough training, to be hit w cramps. That’s what happens when one pushes hard w o the foundation.
I think v comes back stages 11-21, esp hill top finishes stages 14 and 15
If these two are x close going into stage 21, and I think that will be the case, watch out for crashes tt stage 21, esp by p
There’s no way Cav wins a stage against competition like these young strong guys, if he does we can all ask 🤔😬
Let's hope a time trial doesn't settle this. Otherwise, Jonas "Floyd" Vingegaard will win despite a major crash in April.
To pronounce French properly, you must eat some escargot and wash it down with a nice Merlot.
Why not pronounce correctly the names
Pogacar
Vingegaard?
You are getting paid to comment
Pantani isn’t a hero. He’s a cheater.
that's totally untrue. he was never even charged with "cheating". he was a victim of mafia. please educate yourself.
@@diedrinoI’ve a bridge that you may be interested in purchasing?
Exactly like Jonas then 🤣
@@diedrino He was dirty, mate. If you think otherwise, I’ve a bridge you might be interested in purchasing?
@@diedrino like Lance, Ulle, the fat Dane, and all the others back then - you are hilarious
Not finishing in Paris? The biggest sporting event in the world not finishing in Paris. Pathetic.
