I visited York on Saturday with a friend and it was brilliant! Your video gave me lots of ideas and helped me and my friend prepare our trip. I was in awe most of the time, as there was so much to see and in such a small area. It's a wonderful city with lovely people. I highly recommend a visit. Two or three days is enough to enjoy most of the sights, but it is possible to cram in lots in one day too. One can see lots of things for free so it doesn’t have to be an expensive trip. Parking was £16 as we stayed for more than 5 hours. Our (free) visit to the York Art Gallery was our highlight. Thank you for sharing your tour.
Thanks for sharing your trip, I'm glad you had a nice time 🙂 There really is so much to do given the size, we've been many times and still not done it all! Agree that 2 or 3 days would be a good amount of time for a visit
9:48 For someone who isn’t particularly interested in trains, THANK YOU for using the correct terminology! You quite clearly actually paid attention and did your research before talking about it. It is so infuriating to me the amount of people who call locomotives “trains” and whatnot.
I know right I've been. it's about 45ish minutes away from where I live. my favourite time of year is when the river floods its really pretty from the bridge near clifforts tower
Just found your channel and I had to subscribe immediately! Your video is very informative, visually pleasing and I enjoy your narration too. I will be in York this fall for the first time, and having already watched multiple vlogs about York, I feel like you have the most thorough and helpful video that I have seen. I hope you continue posting content, and am going to look at the previous videos on your channel.
Wow, York, England looks stunning. We can't wait for this covid to go away so we can go. The architecture is pretty amazing. Thanks for the guide. It will be helpful when we go.
Great video . York really is a beautiful city . And some of the attractions are well worth a visit . Although some are a tad expensive . The historic ones are very good to go and see . I especially enjoyed the railway museum . Been to it twice now . Love the shambles too . Looking forward to seeing your other videos .
Agree, it's very beautiful. Fortunately some of my favourite things to do in York are free 😀 I can understand you going back to the railway museum, there's plenty to see there. Thanks for watching!
Still love this video, really accurate and inspiring. Im a native tourist😂. We end up going there every year. Weve been 5 times and it still never grows old
