Koei Japan had a stream earlier today showcasing a new trailer and gameplay from their latest demo build. The presenters were talking over it but you can clearly see what the game is gonna be like. I've added the trailer at the end of the video as well. Enjoy!

What is this pretentious ass gaslighting? Literally no one is weird for wanting to play as the main draw & premise of the franchise, which are the goddam heroic spirits. Ya'll are the unique ones for specifically wanting to play as the Masters over the Servants.

If you shun the opportunity to play as a master in the fate series simply because you think masters are quote on quote "lame" or "weak" because of your introduction to the anime protags then to me that's rude af to the creator but it's narrow minded, corny, & lame that you wouldn't give it a chance.

All fate series games made by koei ah been dynasty/samurai warriors clones this would be the 3rd one to be made
Looks very good, a more elaborated musou, more complex combat and set in one of the best universe : FATE

Looks bland, boring, lifeless and really ugly. What are they spending FGO money on? Def not this game it looks and feels like budget ps2/ps3 game, those locations are tiny, combat is meh, animations and cutscenes are really badly put. Even F2p Genshin looks leagues above this game and Bandai, Square Enix jrpgs are not even comparable. If only they would put this much effort into their games as they put into their amazing movies.

What's interesting here is that you can also play the rogue servants like Cu here and have a contract with them, not just Iori and Saber. I'm very excited to play the rogue servants especially Circe & Master Li
actually looks kind of good, fate anime series has always been pretty awesome too

I think in one of the trailer, a shiba inu got himself a belly rub so when you can interact with other living beings such as animals like that cat just adds to the wholesome side of the game.

Hopefully increase resolution has a significant benefit. Rain code looks good but had resolution issues, probably same for switch version of this game

game is coming out in english in september 29th for Switch PS4/5 and PC
Korean and Chinese always gets the priority to dubs and or subs. English always takes a little longer unless there's a huge English community fan base around it.

Yes, this game isn’t set in the same universe as zero. So bar some familiar servants, you won’t be missing much.

I saw an ad for this game in a free magazine from Walmart. I was hoping this would be along the lines of ghost of Tsushima or sekiro (but a bit easier)
Hopefully we get a cool samurai game for the switch that is more along those lines one day. For all those who are excited for this game, I hope it is amazing and everything you want. Doesn't look like it's for me sadly.
Edit: I pretty much want a "Samurai Champloo" video game for the switch lol. Let me know when that gets made 😭

I wish someone could remake that. In contrast to fate games, i just want them to innovate.

FSN, Hollow Ataraxia, Unlimited Codes, Extella, Extella link, Tiger coliseum... there are plenty of non turn based fate games.

why good game have to have a gameplay of 1 vs 1000 hack n' slash BS. I hate it the gameplay of Dynasty Warriors-like. why can't we have a good game that is action-rpg like Granblue Fantasy relink or scarlet nexus. Man so disappointing. I had enough with fate extella series. man I want a Fate (type moon) game that have gameplay of Scarlet Nexus.

Fate Grand Order has been on the top of the charts for many years and they couldn't produce a high quality game that is WORTH it's price (I shit you not, Fate Samurai Remnant is more expensive than Elden Ring and Baldurs Gate 3).
Meanwhile Granblue Fantasy, a gacha game which is not as big as it is back then (which also had a pretty much dead fighting game), is getting a game which looks on par with Tales of Arise.

To me, it's strange. So few enemies on screen, and the enemies seem rather uninspired so far....the cutscenes look good so far, but the game play itself.....Idk either...
It feels like they are improving the environments over Fate Extella Link, which was a major complaint.....in exchange for dipping quality everywhere else ><

Another low effort anime game
Combat system looks good to me but design wise i gotta agree. They should be more like danganronpa or persona .
Lol it is definitely not low effort at all. The problem with the gaming community is that they look at newer games and expect everything to be on that level so anything that isn't is immediately taken as lazy, low effort or low budget. This game is definitely pretty big from we have seen already and has plenty of detail. The combat system has proven to offer a fair bit too. With plenty of talented voice actors, that won't be an issue at all.

I'm generally curious, because I'm trying to find gameplay vids to convince me to buy this, as I've played dang there every single Fate game.

At this time though....the gameplay seems far inferior to me to previous hack n slash anime games. Even the last two hack n slash Fate games had more appealing gameplay videos.
The thing this definitely seems to have over Extella and Link is better environment. But....what else?

In all truth this looks very bland as far asá character design and enemy variation. Even the hit animations on the enemies ó looks cloned this must be a beta video the can't release s dubbed have that looks this unfinished. Dynasty warriors 5 one piece pirate warriors 4 Berserk band of the hawk even warriors orichi 4 is crushing this in comparison as far as gameplay and graphics.
This looks amazing! I hope it's a bit difficult. I've been feeling like a lot of games are easy AF lately. Ff16 was great but easy as hell.

Just play the game in hard mode, I've been playing games in hard mode first time for a couple of years it works cuz most of the time normal is just easy and easy mode it's for like disabled people or something
@@jgobea0188 yeah I've been doing the same.... I wish most games at least have an insane mode that's harder than hard though. Tales of aries did and the enemies were one shoting me, which is how I like it lol

Easy mode? there's a story focused mode and a gameplay focused mode and after completing the story there's a New Game + mode which have different enemies that are harder to defeat in which mode did you play it to say it's easy?
