Yo, I have a controversial one, use only one layer in a bed defense if your using obsidian. Its to easy to box yourself in and get to other peoples beds with more layers on the outside. And if they do box in you can mine in from the top and kill them. Best defense is 1 layer of obsidian with 3 turrets placed in the corners.
