- Chris Paul. 10x NBA-All Star. 2013’s All-Star Game Most Valuable Player. 4x All-NBA First Team. 3x All-NBA Second Team. 2011 All-NBA Third Team. 7x All-Defensive First Team. 2x All-Defensive Second Team. 2006’s Rookie of the Year. 4x NBA Assist Leader. 6x NBA Steals Leader. 2x Olympic Gold Medalist. Chris Paul is a man of a million moves and he manuevers through the defense every which way imaginable. He dominates defenders with his seemingly effortless effectiveness from virtually everywhere on the court.
CP3 returning to Oklahoma City, the place where he played most of his rookie season (due to Hurricane Katrina), was supposed to be a feel good story where a player past his prime goes to finish out his career or plays well enough that they trade him to a contender. The Thunder were not favorites to make the playoffs, but Chris Paul’s obsessive nature and uncontainable competitiveness, coupled with the emergence of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, as well as a solid complimentary core of Danilo Gallinari, Steven Adams, Dennis Schröder, laughs in the face of expectations. The Thunder likely overachieved and they remain a team dangerous enough that you don’t really want to see him in the first round of the playoffs.
Chris’ mastery of the midrange is the most obvious thing about his game, as well as his hunger to hunt out mismatches and make absolute fools of switching bigs, but it’s every little thing he does that makes it so effective: the look off, watching how the defender is leaning, the proficiency with which he pivots, his pauses, his pacing…everything put together is art. This season, by the time of the hiatus, he finished in the top 20 in steals, top 15 in assists, top 10 in offensive win shares and in the Value Over Replacement Player stats. Add to those things the fact that he is still probably a top 3 player in the pick and roll, a scrappy defender, and someone who has been able to read every single situation on a basketball court for the better part of 15 years, Chris Paul is very much still the Point God.

I've had a few people make requests on there and obviously those get priority. Some will be made available on TH-cam, while some will remain exclusive!

@Malachi Axl You are welcome =)
I never understood why people thought this man wasn’t an elite PG just cause of one season.
literally. the disrespect is wild
people have short memories
I think a lot if it was people judging him based on who he is as a person, I personally don't like him as one in some aspect but he's easily a top 10 pg all time, dislike or hate him you really cant dispute that.
I thought those folks’ was crazy
Nobody whose opinion matters thought that. Just children who are influenced by hype.
Midrange master! You never know when he gonna pull-up.
He uses the ball screen so well. The best I’ve ever seen
Such a veteran star. You can tell he just has so much confidence now as an o.g. One of the most naturally talented basketball players ever. In all aspects of the game, on and off court.
My all time favorite player. He has the greatest handles of all time, I don’t care what anyone says. His assist to turnover ratio tells all.
Greatest functional handles? Is that what you're meaning because I can get on board with that. I don't think his assist to turnover ratio is solely a result of his great ball control but also his smart decision making when passing, though.
Cory Willis sure call it the greatest functional handles ever, since he still is a 18 ppg career scorer and one of the greatest midrange shooters of all time in terms of volume and efficiency. His midrange game is historic man
CP3 is a legend. Definitely will be missed when gone! probably top 3 basketball IQ's in the game
Every guard and average-height baller should learn from CP3! A Master of his Craft!
Unfortunately the mid range is a lost art these days, but Chris Paul shows that it still has great value when you’re skilled in it. There’s a lot of space to shoot off the dribble from a PnR and players like him, Kawhi and DeRozan use this very well
This is also why I think that MJ would feast in this league and average 40+ in his prime every season on ridiculous efficiency
Select Name Here MJ with today’s shoes, conditioning, training, etc. versus the defence in today’s NBA? 40+ PPG is EASY
It's great to see CP3 still playing at a high level at 34/35. Unfortunate injuries slowed him down last year but he's been looking nearly as great as he did in his first season in Houston.
Wouldn't surprise me if OKC made it to the semis.
You can t tell he's in better shape than he's been for the past 2. Slimmed down. Wasn't really out of shape, but got a little stocky as he got older. Must have switched up the routines like the greats do.
Fantastic finisher for SGA this season please!
Nobody probes better than CP3. How the way he orchestrates within the pick and roll, is god tier.
I'm going to try that first one 😂
Dribble all chill across the top of the key then a Jumper 😅
He has at least 2-3 more years of this production
you are the best nba channel in youtube bro
I appreciate you saying that 🙏🏽
damnnn he tuff asf.. i’ve never rlly watched him play like that but after this video i will a lot
Chris Paul is the closest thing you'll ever get to see to a Mozart performance except it's with a basketball and not a symphony
Has one of the best sidestep jumpshots in the game
CP3 is still a wizard with the ball. It's amazing how effortlessly he can get to his spots on the floor
If CP3 was 6’7, he would’ve been the best player in the world
6'5* so he can still kinda dribble lower than most guys.
My fav player🙌
His handles are so slept on man
Sir Evin thank you for granting my request.....
My favorite NBA player of all time, Rondo.
The master of the pick&roll
Edit: On top of that a god giant slayer
I was just watching Pat Beverly's lockdown vid and he just uploaded another banger🐏
Pat Bev lockdown? That thing needs an update 👀
@@EvinGualberto it does!😈
CP3 could probably play into his mid 40s. He's mastered basketball
awesome channel
You choose the best thumbnails for your vids.
Yes sir waiting for thay Cj ja and brad Beal separation
I love this video 크리스폴 너무 멋있음 내 우상 ㅇㅇ
Highest IQ of all time
Do more tony allen defense
Im gonna try copying him hehehe for basketball
If Ja Morant wants to be elite he needs to study Cp3 game!
Kyrie's a better dribbler but CP3 is the better ball handler hands down
Juries more creative but not much better. His handle isn’t any more effective, he just has more moves in his bag.
I know these are highlights but...washed where?
HOF
You can tell he picked up some things playing along side harden.
