I’ve played games with crazy good graphics and tons of content that are $20. FULL GAMES. How can they charge $40 for a pack ? They’re so greedy, and that’s my problem with it. They don’t care about their customers at all.
@@wandering4786 I think the theme and concept of this pack is great but gameplay wise, it doesn’t expand the basegame, it’s literally just another layer of icing on an incomplete cake that’s missing it’s basic ingredients. As long as people pay full price for these packs and buy them on release days EA will continue to push them out, same thing with kits they know what they’re doing
I’m enjoying the game. I had to stop myself after playing for several hours because I was too busy with the pixel chickens when I could be outside with my actual chickens lmao. Needless to say, they got some extra scratch today.
Something I really wish was an option would be to be able to run the grocery stand by yourself, so you can sell your homesteading goods. I'll be making my own farm & garden shop though, so at least there's that! So excited for tomorrow. I even began learning embroidery for the first time due to this pack! ❤️
Fun fact: that is actually how you can food! Once you have the food in the jars you process them in a pot of boiling water to seal them (it’s called water bath canning), or if it’s a low acid food you process using a pressure cooker ☺️ Great video!

That's a great story brought my sim in this world aged her down and created her mom and dad and they're all spell casters all red heads too. She a practical spell casters in her future. So this gives me her history.

Idk if it's an idea for gameplay, but I have discovered something, that I haven't seen anyone share before. So if you go to the Isle of Volpe and you play an instrument, the birds will come and they will do like a "swoop" around your sim, which will bust their skill a little, they will also sing along. I don't know if it works for singing but I assume it does and for other instruments other than violin (my sim was playing violin) Also, it's not an interaction, you don't have to be friends with the birds, and you can play in any place of the Isle of Volpe
For some reason I love everything cooking in this game. So those tinned harvestables are amazing. I didn't know that writing the cooking book was an option. Will other sims learn cooking faster if the writer of the cook book has level 10 in both cooking and writing?
Was looking to buy a new pack and I think I’m sold of this one now! I’ve recently gotten into the gardening thing and I enjoy it a lot surprisingly, I use to stick with painting and cooking and what made me think of this pack was raising farm animals! I LOVE animals but seeing all you can actually do in this pack I’m like WOWED by it lol awesome video also ThankYou for all the great information!
I am so happy to watch this video. I am literally waiting for my game to update right now so I can play this expansion pack. This will be one of my favorites because this is the kind of stuff I like in games like this.
Someone has probably said this somewhere in the comments already, but when it shows the sim putting the jar in the pan, irl when canning some foods need to be pressurized in a special pan to seal them while others need to be placed in hot water. Also irl it can be a dangerous hobby. My dad has experienced multiple jars exploding especially when pressurized if something went wrong. Just a fun fact.

This has honestly been my favorite pack as of recent but getting money for food and such is pretty hard because crops grow so slow. I was trying to have my Sim kind of rough it for a change of pace for myself but again the income is too slow and my sim is barely having any time to tend to herself because the animals are so needy. Seriously anytime I try to have my Sim paint or try and write a book or something for extra money her cow is always complaining about something. And even while selling animal produce, book royalties and paintings she barely breaks even to pay her bills. Am I missing something?
The canning skill looks really good for a mixologist, who doesn't have the option for the last tier food trait Or anyone spending long times in the outdoors

Won't lie. I bought a new laptop to play The Sims again, thanks to this pack. This has offered an entire new gameplay experience, I'm not one to boast about the Sims, but combining a farming simulation and a classic game like the Sims... it is everything.
The canning and making of animal treats is impossible without some power on the stove, tho. I ended up taking off the grid away, but only after saving money to "upgrade" my rustic cottage to have electricity.

One thing I found in the photo with Sophie the snail is that there was a gnome in the picture photo bombing. Was so funny. (There was no gnome when there)

I took my chicken to the fair and they didn't give her back after it was done. I liked that chicken. Now the mayor and my sim are enemies.
It goes into your inventory that is accessible in the build mode. I thought the same and was unhappy until I remembered that inventory space. 😁
