@@Jediwarlock It absolutely is. Honestly, BRD is by far the best dungeon in the game. a few more manmade structures to consider: The Thandol Span in Arathi/Wetlands. If it wasnt for this bridge, the eastern kingdoms would actually be 2 separate continents The Dwarven Dam in Loch Modan Thoradins Wall in Arathi Dire Maul
Agreed about these above. Also, definitely talk about Karazhan. At least its insides ought to be one of the most magnificent structures in all of Azeroth.
Do another! What's the wall that separates Arathi Highlands and Hillsbrad? Why the huge dam in Loch Modan? Why a gate with a key in the south part of loch modan? How about the crystals in un goro? I feel like there's so much on the map worth exploring.
I think that when it comes to Night Elf architecture and generally traces of their presence, Blizz did an excellent job when designing and placing them in classic. They give all of Kalimdor a different feeling to the Eastern Kingdoms, which for me personally included some sort of uneasiness, seeing all of the ruins and thinking that there must be some dark presence around the ruins. This was especially true for the zones like Azshara, Ashenvale and Desolace. It was as if there was something creepy out at sea, below the waters. (Maybe blizz meant to tease the existence of N’Zoth even back then?). Either way, those Nelf ruins give Kalimdor a fascinating vibe. I would gladly watch a video about these traces of Nelf civilization if you made one. (Hey hey, and good job on this one too!)
Yes, the Naga/elven ruins around the coast I think definitely were there to tease Azshara and N'Zoth all the way back then! :D Thank you for the comment, and future episodes coming soon. :)
Nice spot you’re sitting by the sea at the end of the video. I’ve found a couple seaside views far from any npcs where I imagine some of my characters going to take their final breath, or catch their last sunset. 😊
Definitely relate to that feeling. :) Finding cool coastal spots or overlooks is a great pastime in the game! At the end of all my vids (during the suggested videos) I try to feature a different standing/sitting spot each time ;)
Some ideas for Wonders of the Natural World [of Warcraft (Classic)]: Mt. Hyjal The Maelstrom The Savage Reef The Bay of Storms Blackrock Mountain The Abyssal Sands of Tanaris The Thousand Needles + Shimmering Flats Honorable Mention to the Un'goro Crater, depending on whether an artificial Titan-jungle counts as natural!
I believe the Ravencrest monument is a reference to the Colossus of Rhodes, which is an ancient wonder, which also spent years in rubble after an earthquake destroyed it.
1. Vashj'ir is an amazing zone, and in it there're two giant living creatures. One of them can't be saved, but the player quests to save the other one. It feels really special to enter the body of an incredibly large creature and then travel within it as if it was a big building and fight enemies. They are for sure should be covered as wonders of WoW. 2. Suramar.
Ooh yes, both great suggestions! :D I only play Classic and so making videos about those would be difficult for me, but I definitely would consider both of those wonders. :)
Watching this makes me miss playing WoW back in highschool. Started playing more regularly in 07. Played the crap out of Lich King although mostly solo. Didn't get to experience much in the way of raiding. Same with Cataclysm until the LFR was added. After Cata I only played a bit of MoP and then stopped all the way until last year when I subbed for like 2 months. Didn't care for Shadowlands much. Dragonflight looks alright though. Still debating if I will play it or not. Or play classic.
really love your videos, liked and subbed it really makes the world of warcraft feel so alive Blackrock mountain has 2 mega dungeons (BRD and Blackrock Spire (divided into lower and upper), AND 2 raids (Molten Core and Blackwing Lair)
Thank you very much! Welcome to the Jedi Order. :) ...good catch on the dungeons! I thought the Spire was a raid but I play on a very low pop server and don't have much experience with group content XD
Good idea for a video! Other monuments you could add are the Thoradin wall, Wyrmrest temple, Mogu'shan palace, the twin monoliths, the serpent's spine, and the temple of Elune/tomb of Sargeras
Master's Glaive, deeprun tram, blasted lands crater/dark portal, darkwhisper gorge in winterspring, the twin peaks in northern feralas (not sure when it was added, but a quest to climb them existed at some point) Troll City of/Temple of Jintha'alor
Great video and Idea to begin with. I would really like another 1 or 2 Episodes maybe with some natural Wonders from all over the place like the Hand of Gul'dan in Outland or the giant glaciers of Northrend. :D
You cover the best spots of Azeroth, most of which people may not remember. Such nostalgia. Also laughed at the Minecraft sound effect you used when describing Teldrassil's future, lmao.
It's not a wonders suggestion, but a side quest/lore suggestion. One of my favorite things I have noticed over the years are some changes to stories of some NPCs. Like Redridge Guard Captain Parker, Darcy and Martie Jainrose.
Yes, the small details in the quests truly make the world feel alive! It's interesting to see how the minor elements of the story still change over time. :)
Original Sunken Temple needed a few more boss mechanics, and a map, but I really liked it. Maybe in part because I tend tonobsess over trolls, Dire Trolls, and Grell, and that dungeon had all of them.
On the next episode of Seven Wonders of Warcraft: Starting off in the southern jugnle of Eastern Kingdoms, in the goblin city of Booty bay, hanging upside down from a rusty old chain... The Crackhead Shark 5:00
This is seriously an underrated WoW channel! I've watch your videos since yesterday and I really love the topics and contents you're putting out! I hope you'll get more recognition in the community, cause this is great! Only question, when did you start playing WoW?
Thanks so much for watching, I'm glad you're enjoying them! I started playing on my dad's account around 2009 but got my own account on Christmas of 2011 :)
Theres certain places that have piqued my interest, Grim Batol in the Wetlands. The structure on the map in Ashzara just above the ruins of elderath. Uldum in southern Tanaris. I think all those places could have potentially been dungeons or some places to visit in classic that were never finished.
Grim Batol is a great one! The structure above Eldarath is an entrance to Timbermaw Hold, but I am thinking it was just a placeholder model that never really got updated since it is much more human than furbolg in design. :)
I think you could actually dedicate a whole video to immersed/sunken structures. There are so many temples and places that could teach a lot about the ancient times of Azeroth before the Sundering. Just because we don't see them easily, doesn't mean they are there… everywhere!
spoilers . . . .. . . . . Im surprised you didn't include Maraudon or Dire Maul. Those places are breath taking. There's no dungeons like Classic dungeons. Hi Jedi!
I love appreciating the game like this. It's a nice respite from the world first races and the way players optimize the fun out of the game.
Thank you! I definitely agree... I hate all the minmaxing in the game and I enjoy showcasing just the simple parts of the world most of the time. :)
