If I ever own a GS I think this would be the one. Superb review as always Tim
Lovely watch. I love luxury watches that are beautiful and simple. A Grand Seiko is definitely on my bucket list. I have a large wrist and that watch would look great on it.
beautiful watch and bracelet. does the clasp/extension look cheap/pressed to anyone?
Definitely leaves much to be desired, the extension does.
Yes, Yes, Yes
Is this the one listed on your website?
Absolutely love the coat you are wearing! and the nkuwan bag !
Is Grand Seiko serviceable in the USA now?
Beautiful timepiece,thanks 👍🏴❤️
Absolutely spectacular
Gorgeous dial, perfect for a dive watch, but I really do prefer the hi-beat movement. If they would offer this with their new 80-hour hi-beat while keeping everything else the same (same dial color and texture, grade 5 Ti, etc.), it would be perfect for me. Please, GS, do this in a hi-beat version.
Is there anything specific from the Spring Drive movement that you do not care for? I’m just curious, I know some just would rather have a mechanical movement..thank you!
@@slater1949 Sure. The heart of a mechanical watch, what really makes it impressive, is its ability to keep time *mechanically.* The timing mechanism of spring drive is a quartz crystal and the electricity to power it is supplied what amounts to a dynamo (which is powered by a mainspring which is wound by a plain automatic winding mechanism that has been around for over 100 years). This really is not that impressive to me. All they did was make a quartz watch with the battery replaced by the mainspring and automatic winding mechanism from a normal automatic watch.
@@LanguagesWithAndrewOk, so it turns out you don't understand how a spring drive works.
The Spring Drive indicator is only "printed" and not 3D-engraved!
Spectacular piece!
Thanks- superb ivdeo!=)
I want one.
Tim’s even telling us what materials the package is made of. What more can you people want?!
In all seriousness I love this piece. Throw that sucker on a strap and you’re good to go. I hate most bracelets, maybe with the exception of the Streamliner piece.
HEY #nkuwan I have been watching you for years and im so proud of where you have made it! I love you so much! Also thanks for making my day
we need a Kodo unboxing!
What? I never subscribed to this "1916 Company" or whatever channel. Who is this and what have you done to TEA Mosso at the watchbox • calm?
It's him, just changed the name of the company. Same voice (and hands!)
@@anandmorrispretty sure Dave was joking 😂
@@Doggo-frencton ooohhhh!
It's 2024 and people STILL don't know how to use a Seiko Marinemaster type divers extension 🙄
Love the channel, though I must say the new name hardly rolls off the tongue 😅
I bought this popular video watch from nkuwan , which was originally priced at a few thousand dollars, but now it's only $380! It's really suitable to pick up feces!
This is my grail watch.
This is a great looking watch. However, it doesn’t wear fairly well on your wrist, it looks obviously too big for your wrist. Needs to be worn by a big guy, with large wrists.
Yeah. I own one. I have an 8” wrist. It is an awesome watch. Love it.
I have a 6.5 inch wrist. I'd rock this just like I rock my 45 x 16 Tag Heuer Carrera GMT.
The size is ridiculously large, ugly on the fly adjustment… A total no…
I have seen better Seamaster Diver 300m clones though.
I have the Seamaster 300 Diver. It is great. This Grand Seiko is spectacular.
@dr.kevinmoore8889 love my Seamasters. I have the blue dial and the No Time To Die ones. I'm tempted to get the green dial too, but it looks black in some videos.
way too fukin expensive for the japanese shjt
