- Dr Adel Bondok Anatomy Teaching Videos.
It describes the muscles of the anterior (flexor) compartment of the forearm:
A. Superficial group: 5 muscles
1. Pronator teres
2. Fexor carpi radialis
3. Palmaris longus
4. Flexor carpi ulnaris.
5. Flexor digitorum superficialis: deep to the above 4 muscles.
Deep group: 3 muscles:
1. Flexor pollicis longus: in front of the radius.
2. Flexor digitorum profundus: in front of the ulna.
3. Pronator quadratus: from the ulna to the radius. It is the main pronator of the forearm.

Very simple; flex the wrist and see the tendon of the palmaris longus projecting in front of the middle of the wrist.

Dr at the first of the vid there is written that the deep muscles are supplied by posterior interosseous branch....it is anterior branch,am I right??
The 3 deep muscles of the anterior flexor compartment are supplied by the anterior interosseous nerve (branch from the median nerve) except the medial half of the flexor digitorum profundus by the ulnar nerve.
I watched the video. At the beginning I compared the anterior compartment with the posterior compartment. I mentioned that the deep muscles of the posterior compartment (not the anterior) are supplied by the posterior interosseous nerve.
