i’m going to school to be an rcis and in my hospital system nurses also scrub and rcis also circulate and give medicine. interesting to see it done a different way!

I think you mean cardiac versus interventional radiology... it really varies! Cardiac is faster pace and a little harder than IR. But typically the more critical patients will have anesthesia on the case and as the nurse its less work for you.
This is such a great video! I’m 6 months away from graduating nursing school and I still am not sure which specialty I want to go in. My choice right now would be ER or Medsurg to get experience. What were the job requirements to work in Cath Lab? Thanks for sharing 💙
Be careful with the peanut butter powder if you have dogs because it contains xylitol which is deadly in small quantities for our pups. It’s also in other things like mouthwash, toothpaste, gums, foods and especially sugar free/low sugar foods, etc. companies aren’t even required to label it so be very careful!
