Hello Isa! :D Today you keep me company while I cook diner (garlic bread my beloved :D) I must say I love the idea of camping out in the deep dark. Both from the perspective of the game- the deep dark is inhospitable and dangerous and scary, the gameplay has you sneaking around like a burglar invading this place. But it doesn’t need to be that way, because this is a game and you get to modify it and get to have a cute camping trip in an incredibly good looking biome! And I love that. I also love it from the perspective of the game’s lore. This place is ancient, so old that now even the monster that has once existed down there left. For all intents and purposes this place is dead and forgotten and empty. But there you are, a new generation, a new explorer, a new foot to step on these ancient tiles and admire this forgotten architecture. A new life brought to a place which has been, no, HAD to be, deathly quiet for so long. But not anymore. Because there you are, with a colourful tent to liven up the blacks and blues. With a cooking pot and good food, bringing new and pleasing smells to the walls which have known nothing but the stench of stale water and unmoving air for centuries. Here you are frolicking down pathways that children once used to run down much the same, then later those very same halls used to be roamed by a heavy and powerful monster. Do you think those halls missed the light and happy footsteps of a playful run? Do you think your feet mirrored the footprints of those long gone children in play? You bring new life, both metaphorically and literally in the form of your campfire. You light a new beacon of red and orange among the soul-flames of a generation long gone. Listen to those flames, listen to the fire wood crack and sizzle, because between those sounds of nature you might just be able to hear the campfire consoling the burning souls. “I am here now. Life continues. There is hope.” :)
I've always completely avoided the deep dark. I never really thought to try visiting it in peaceful. I think I may give it a try the next time I visit my minecraft world. :)
Fun fact: I belong to no stereotype. I read a stupid amount of books, sci-fi, fantasy, what have you. I write MLP fanfiction. I have played over 60 different board games. I have over thousand hours of video game time. I got the 100m Hurdles Track and Field record at my school. I adore parkour.
Fair warning with spruce, from what I remember when I last played, they are VERY picky about their surroundings and want a 1 block gap from any other block (including other saplings) otherwise they won’t grow. This even includes grass and torches. Maybe they fixed this issue but I remember it being really annoying
This has become one of my favorite series to watch these days, it’s always so nice and calming to watch. Today I started a new crochet plushie project while watching
Random fact about me is that I have synesthesia. It's very usefull for conecting information, remembering people(especaly as I'm also faceblind) and other stuff like this but all the extra impressons sometimes are overwelming. I normaly asociate colours and sounds to nearly every other impression. I also want to tell you that I really like the ideas you come up with in this series and how they use the fact that there are no hostile Mobs around.
Dude! I have that too! Except mine is more with the smell of a color (and EVERYTHING has an assigned color in my head which determines its smell). It's especially weird when I'm picking out block pallets. 😂 Thank you for sharing!
Oh, I barly know anyone else who has it, exept for one friend of mine and some fictional caracters. Last ones were what made me learn that not all people asociate senses that way. It's nice to hear of someone else. The only things I don't asociate sound and color with are my own voice and looking at me in a mirror. Every other voice and even my clothes in the mirror would come with sound and color and I don't know why there is this exeption, it's just the way it is.
any excuse both irl and in game to be in an area you arent usually in is quite fun. one of my favorite things to do is go on my lil tiny sailboat and just explore up creeks and lakes around me. its fun and pieceful with just the wind and the sun as company. make sure to take care of yourself!
Nice to see a new episode. I really hope one of peaceful recipe mods get update to 1.21 soon, want to play this mod pack but need my shulker box since I play as nomad. Sadly the only thing update is a table that "kills" mobs and put the loot into the chest next to it, which defeat the peaceful setting.
fun fact(s): while watching, I’m crocheting socks while cats are having a temper tantrum on my legs 😂 🤷🏽♀️ 🫶🏼 and 🫂 from Germany! I enjoy your videos a lot
Yay, it’s 1am and I have work later today but I’m so distracted. When this notification popped up, I instantly knew I was heading into a calming video. Thanks isabox
Great way to wake up! Thank you for the video! Also, you know I already do photography, so a random fact about me, I once stopped a bus with my bare hands. Also, should tame a cat and name it Meowtcha…for matcha tea! I also realize it sounds like it could be a Pokémon name 😅
Fun fact about me (but like also my whole family) is that nearly all our birthdays neighbor each other. In order by date: me and Cousin C- Sept. 2nd (two years apart too!), Uncle R (Mom's lil bro)- Sept 4th, Mom- Sept 6th, Dad- Sept 7th, Cousin E (Cousin C's mom)- Sept 9th, and Aunt D (Dad's big sister)- Sept. 11th. On top of all that, astrologically my mother and I have the exact same big 3: Virgo sun, Virgo moon, Leo rising. Most of these people are either estranged or dead now, but I just can't mentally escape "my" day having never once felt mine own... Not fun actually, it haunts me...
seeing you encounter that bat in the deep dark in that small deepdark reminded me of my first experience in an ancient city: i was in a modded minecraft server, but we had Cobblemon installed, so a toooon of pokemon kept spawning and setting off all the sensors, spawning wardens all over the place. it was cartoonishly dangerous haha!! today was a lot of fun, seeing you cozily camping down there :P
A fun fact about me? Well I guess that depends on who is reading. So let’s go with Minecraft related. I started playing in 2016 on a Wii, I have never been to the End, never played on a server, and my longest running game is from October 2023 till current. LoL. I suck at the actual game playing part, and prefer to gather resources, and reduce mountains to make room to build things. I started building things from the DnD world I started creating.
I always watch this series while eating or studying (or avoiding study ehehe)! i always get so happy when i see a update on cup of tea ALSO if ever please add your talking bits over travelling through the world i LOVE listening to you talk
Fun fact about me is that I once tried to bring a mobile AC home on a trailer for my bike and broke the break on my bike, so I had to walk to a repair parts shop and buy tools and bolts (multiple times) to fix the break so I could bike home, about 30 km. It was a very exhausting sunday, but also so very much me.
I might have to turn on Paceful for a bit and go check out the ancient cities, that looked like so much fun! And you got to tame a couple of pups, they look so content living on your porch!
For future adventures I suggest getting a pair of fashionable leather booties for safe travel over powdered snow. Enchanted with feather falling, deepthstrider and unbreaking recommended. Looks like a lovely camping trip, should've brought tea ^_^
When a new video comes out but you're not done watching through the ones you've missed yes, so now you just have something more to look forward too 🌾 😎
Im mad that my divice broke so i missed 3 episodes but im back and its always a midnight therapy section watching your videos, keep up the good work love you
Random fact about myself? I want to be an astronomer, space fascinates me especially after I learned exactly how much stuff in space effects us here on earth...alas I am not smart enough to be an astronomer so I just stick to reading science articles. Funfact last year around the eclipse time the sun was VERY active, it was predicted to knock out power grids with how extreme the solar flares and storms were. Thankfully it didn't happen but the solar flares did sure make the eclipse looks 10x cooler than it already was! ^^
I technically have a birth defect. It's non debilitating but let's just say it's bizarre enough that when one of my coworkers finally noticed it they freaked out a little bit 😂 No I will not explain further. You'll have to hunt me down in real life to find out. (That was a joke please don't lol)
Random fact - I just started my own business. Very scary but I'll be making some content soon as well. It's called Spice of Life Health and Wellness. So I'm not able to be as involved in the community. Still love you guys ❤
That's amazing, Chelsea! That's not an easy thing to do. ^0^ Well done, friend! We love you too even if it is a from a distance, it doesn't change the amount.
A desert adventure to find pyramids might get you more bones!! And you could do some fun archaeology while you're there!🙂
That's a great idea! I'll add it to the list. ^-^
This is the best idea. And the fridge! That's such a cool idea on Minecraft's part. Congrats on doggos! Love you.
Love you too! We love the fridge!
oh my gosh. i've had a miserable week and today is the best possible day for a minecraft cup of tea video to show up!
"why is there just a room full of ice."
"oh it's a refrigerator!" :O
SHE'S SO CUTE I LOVE HER SO MUCH
End of video happens: 🎵🎶
Me: "OHHHH noooooo!!! stuck in my head" 🤣
Mine too. 😂 I just didn't want to suffer alone.
I have an addiction to anything mythical or supernatural. Dragons and phoenix especially...
I’ve ended up just listening to this with my morning cup of tea during my opening shift at work
I died repeatedly trying to get a friends stuff back when they died to a warden, we got it back though and I'm never going back 😂

I love this! You summarized the feelings so perfectly!
Tip I learned, the difference between regular and powdered snow: Regular snow can have the thin layer of snow on top, Powdered cannot.
I love how the sculk makes the surrounding look like a night sky full of stars. Really makes the camping more cozy XD
new cup of tea new cup of tea new cup of tea
I've always completely avoided the deep dark. I never really thought to try visiting it in peaceful. I think I may give it a try the next time I visit my minecraft world. :)
I'd recommend it! It's fun! ^-^ Just be prepared to be jump-scared by shriekers. 😅
I LOVE doing a little peaceful mode
It's so chill, and kind of challenging in it's own way
chai idea: chai-ms may (james may)

Good shout! Thank you!
this series makes me feel so cozy! Love the tent by the way! Also fun fact about myself I love to have sugar cookies with my tea!

Two tips. Farming for Blockheads has a Market that sells saplings. Fortune 3 on a Hoe increases the drops on saplings, seeds and certain crops.

Random fact about me! I've only been in a school building like 3 times in my entire life. Idk it seemed pretty random to me lol
I have a similar lack of experience. 😂
@Isabox00 one of the reasons why we're friends, i think haha
Shared ignorance. ^-^
