Thank you so much for teaching me how to use powdered bakhoor. I would like to get powdered one but I was tentative to buy one because I didn't know how to use it in a proper way. Best regards from Japan.
You prolly dont give a shit but does any of you know a trick to log back into an instagram account? I was dumb forgot the login password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me!
i love it so much first time using it, i used incense sticks and cones before didnt know that oudh can make more fresh and pleasant scents for my home, the smell stays for long also really calm my mind , i will use Bakhoor from now on also makes me reminds me of Mecca that i visited before
Yeah as me. I always light this charcoal and put my bakhoor everyday and put my clothes above the bakhoor stand. Masha Allaah it stays for 48 to 72 hrs if you buy those strong bakhoor. I left perfumes. So nice alhamdulillaah.
Fun fact - Somalia (Then Land of Punt (Puntland is now a state in Somalia which is different)) waa known to the ancient Egyptians as the Land of Gods because whoever went there never came back alive. Frankincense (Foox in Somali which is used in some Bakhoor uunsi in Somali) was also traded from the ancient somalis to the ancient Egyptians. 🇸🇴❤️🇪🇬
Gentleman! Thanks for sharing the process of having bakhoor. If you don't mind can please share the names of some of strongest & longlasting bakhoor orient perfumes. Please!
Great video. That shop is amazing, I was drooling looking at all those scents, it must of smelled magical in there. Where is that shop and do they have an online service? I'd love a few of those wooden burners and browse that back wall display. WOW! Thank you for this.
That is true, I came out smelling incredible. The shop is on Wilmslow Road, Manchester. Not sure they have an online service but I'm considering making one with all the demand from the comments
Salaam brother. I wish I'd seen this video when I was up in Manchester last year! Is there any shops in London that you can recommend for a nice wide bakhoor selection. I'm huge fan of Yemeni bakhoor or the Nabeel Pink and White varieties, any suggestions as alternatives?
I think I should make a Bakhoor by using MINI electric iron for pressing clothes . By using the HEATING IRON ELEMENT/COiL which Heats the Electric IRON , by Alteration/Modification , which is a very durable long lasting . So I will make One Bakhoor burner .
Hi Manel, whatever works for you is fine - of course the coal produces a different smell which is more organic (thats not to say the electric burner doesn't smell beautiful)
Thank you Scribblebytes as far as I know it is that, Oud is used to make Bakhoor either in its raw form (less common) and is mixed with oils for more bakhoors and perfumes
My family are Muslims and in our country the religious scholars sometimes say that pleasant smells attract the angels to your house/ceremonies. This may have benefits of bringing blessings and protection, all with the permission of Allah/God of course. So perfumes, incense and all that are used by Muslims worldwide, more popularly the attar oil fragrances.
yeah, I'm here after google'ing what's that smell i smelt at middle east malls, I've been mostly to Doha Qatar but reddit pepz says it's all the same either oud wood or agarwood as you said so here too ❤️😌👌
Hi, I want to try bakhoor really bad my problem is I'm not a huge fan of rose how it smells. Can you reccomend any bakhoor that doesnt smell like rose or overly floral?
Hi Krystal, Sure I would say there is no better substitution than going to a Bakhoor shop and asking to try it for yourself. The oud Bakhoor's are quite nice in my opinion but that is just personal preference.
Once the oud chips go black are they done for sort of like a 1 time use? And i have some larger chip sizes from saudi can i cut them to smaller pieces?
Nora, you could check if Middle-Eastern or Turkish shops near you have some in-store, alternatively Amazon do have bakhoor and traditional and electric burners!
electrical incense burners are available online, they just have a heated metal plate, however, the output may vary from using the traditional coal method.
Fifa Legend the best way to use bakhoor and without it being wasted as they are expensive I found using a oil burner the best way and you get the actual bakhoor smell plus use it for at least an hour, basically put bakhoor on top of oil burner and put tea light candle at bottom this gives gentle heat and lovely bakhoor smell without the smokey smell of charcoal, if you use electric burner I suggest to put foil on first then add bakhoor this again don’t give out the burning smell, on charcoal same method after charcoal is properly lit add foil on top then bakhoor you will enjoy bakhoor for at least 1 hour and without smoke smell, hope this helps. 😊
If you get a natural charcoal (I use one made of coconut fibre) it burns slower. Many of the charcoal discs contain some of lighter chemical to help them light fast, which can also give off a slightly chemical smell. A 100% natural charcoal will be much harder to get to light, but it will burn slower and not interfere with the scent of the incense.
I wish I knew where I can buy some in my area. There’s a store I’ve gone to buy some and they don’t smell good at all! They smell cheap like maybe fake versions of the real stuff
Once I have used it i can't stopped myself to use it every morning n evening.. MasyaAllah.. What a great feeling....
Thank you so much for teaching me how to use powdered bakhoor. I would like to get powdered one but I was tentative to buy one because I didn't know how to use it in a proper way. Best regards from Japan.
this is the best one I have seen so far !!
I wish I could smell the oud through TH-cam
For the few that I have tried it's a wonderful aroma. It's certainly not American.

Yeah unfourtualely I live in the middle of nowhere so no stores around that would sell bakhoor.

That sounds accurate, once burnt it seem they cannot be re-used like all bakhoor. Absolutely, let me know how they are
does using bakhoor trigger fire alarms just like you are doing it indoor in the video
very good

Can u use the bukhoor without the coal?
That’s a good question, there may be some bakhoors that you can burn without coal like incense sticks - I haven’t come across other forms though
electrical incense burners are available online, they just have a heated metal plate, however, the output may vary from using the traditional coal method.
yes as log as tea light holder has a copper top
I light it on fire for about 2-3 minutes until it’s started to burn then blow out the flame. It’s always worked for me

Pls what's the name of that shell use for bahkoor
The shell? The bukhoor itself is called oud but that is rare, the other bukhoor are very nice too
How long does a a coin sized burn? Mine finishes it so fast within like 10 minutes
