Absolutely beautiful, the weather and temperature looked great. It must be 114 out here at lake mead. It's just to dam hot in the day, night time or early morning for fishing for me, around 9am I have to call it a day. Thank you Allen and as always please stay safe!

That Elkhorn is a nice rod. I have that Orvis Battenkill reel. Great combo and simple click and paw. There new disc ones are nice with larger arbor!! Nothing like catching them on a fly rod. Nice bass. 🤣 “that’s what she said” part was hilarious! Thanks for sharing Alan

While I was hiking down a trail at Mt. Baldy CA, a hiker walking up warned me about a coral snake that he saw further down the trail. After walking a few steps, I realized that the only venomous snake in California is the rattlesnake! The hiker had mistaken a king snake for a coral snake.

Drove in that area Tuesday. Gate was locked on road to lake. Was wondering what lake looked like. Was supposed to check out 2N25 but that gate was locked too. Then went up route 2 and got stopped because of an accident had to turn around. Ugh. At least your video showed me what the lake looked like. How far of a hike is it to the lake?
