S scale is the most underrated scale in model railroading! I have O scale and, since EVERYTHING was actually O-27 growing up, never realized how BIG it really is-until I started buying MTH Premier items. S scale is 1:64 SCALE, better than 0-27, and smaller than O scale yet still larger than HO; no to mention, the track is 2 rail! Now, if we can just get MTH into the gauge and produce as much in S as he has in O!
Sense you have a real big layout. Let me ask you some thing on a smaller layout. I have a 4'x11' layout. I wanted more then one train running at the same time. I didn't want to have to watch them all the time. If I had to leave the room. I would have to turn them off. So my question is how can you run all of those trains at the same time with out them crashing into each other.

This is the hobby should be. No time schedule or fast clock. Just enjoying the trains
