The CP guy I talked to last night thinks they won't have to shut down. They are raising the track almost two feet so traction motors won't be so low to the water as they were earlier and the depression is sandbagged. They have enough pumps to keep the depression pretty dry. He said they have a problem if the water plant closes their flood wall. So we shall see.

It is going even higher this weekend. But the locomotives will above the water more than they were two weeks ago.

Yes, I'm sure it is. The elevation of the track will be permanent, since this is an on going problem every spring.
