Lisa Marie and Michael Jackson had a 9 year relationship, even for many years after they divorced. They never stopped loving each other, she said Michael Jackson was the love of her life, and it showed!! The picture of her crying at his casket broke my heart! They both wrote songs about each other- the whole Invincible Album is about her, and she wrote songs regarding the ups and downs of their relationship- but the love songs- OMG! My favorite is Just A Dream. (about Michael). She also wrote Lights Out and Nobody Noticed It about her dad, and a couple of songs for her children. My favorite Album is Storm And Grace, her last. She was VERY talented!! More Lisa Marie Presley reactions, please!
For me Lisa Marie was a better artist than Michael Jackson! I never liked Michal Jackson! But Lisa Marie has all what Elvis had!

Lisa Marie is a songwriter and singer! She has 3 albums that are Amazing!! If Elvis was alive, he'd be so proud and prob sing songs his daughter wrote for him. Still heartbroken 💔 Sticks & Stones & Storm & Grace are great songs from her. In the Ghetto was one of her favorites. Lisa died of a broken heart. Her only son Benjamin who looked and acted like Elvis committed suicide & buried at Graceland.

Her last album 'Storm & Grace' is gorgeous. It's very different stylistically from the first two albums. It's like she poured her soul into it. I can't choose just one favorite song from that album because it's perfect as a whole. But the last song, 'Just a Dream', is what I'd recommend for you guys to check out if you're only reacting to one song. It's about her ex husband Michael Jackson who had died a few years prior to her writing that song.

My favorite Album of Lisa's, and my favorite song of Lisa's! Just A Dream was one of her love songs to Michael. She loved Michael so much! I like to think they are together again with Elvis and Ben.
She had Her OWN Music...Listen to "Lights Out"- she talks about Memphis and "The empty space in the Damn Back lawn" at Graceland--- which is Exactly where she is buried.
I love her song The Night the Lights Went our in Memphis. You should hear their duo “where no one stands alone.” So glad Elvis world has that to listen too.

It just hit me after hearing this song again today. That when Lisa Marie recorded this song she had no idea that her son would grow up to die when he was 21. And oh how she cried and grieved. "She was" the "And His Mama Cried" person. For the last two years Lisa Marie had trouble going on because her grief was so heavy.
Ben was 27, NOT 21.

the song that pops into my head most is "I'll Figure It Out" the hook stays with you. and i love her sultry deep vocal on it. she also does a duet with Pink called "Shine" i wish she had done more. we got 3 records each one better than the previous.

There was another "King" who was joined by his daughter similarly, after he was gone, in 1991 long before this performance and that was Natalie Cole with her father Nat King Cole! A very nice duet. Natalie had a nice career. She was so talented and gone too soon as well. Thanks for reacting.

Lisa Marie was a singer in her own right, & I know Elvis, who adored his little girl, would have been so proud of her. She was just 9 years old when her beloved daddy died. As an adult, she said that the only time she had felt safe & loved as a child, was when she was in her daddy’s arms. When she lost her oldest child, Elvis’ only grandson, when he took his own life at the age of 27, Lisa Marie just never recovered. And now she is also gone, leaving three daughters …. Her oldest daughter has a beautiful voice too, & she is an actress. The Presley family have had so much loss. Elvis lost his beloved mother when he was 22 & she was 46. Then Elvis himself passed at 42. Benjamin at 27 & Lisa Marie at 54. And Elvis lost his identical twin brother Jesse when he was stillborn after a long labour, 35 mins before Elvis was born. Lisa Marie also has twin daughters, now aged 15.

Great reaction, she actually had a singing career even though she started in her mid 30's. She made 3 albums that all went gold. Her music was hard rock, not like Elvis at all. She was criticised so much, and then when her son Ben committed suicide in 2020 she sort of unravelled. A tragic life. But you are right maybe she's with her dad now. Thanks so much. Be Blessed

Lisa's cause of death was heart failure as opposed to a heart attack. Lisa's recording career was sporadic over time because of various marriages and raising her children which was something she loved. Even so, in her career she made 3 albums which got good reviews and went gold. She's recorded with Pink and performed with Pat Benetar. An awesome songwriter, her songs are about her life. Her first single release was a music video called Lights Out which is mesmerizing to watch. The song is about Graceland and the lyrics are chilling in aftersight. Another song of hers is Sticks and Stones performed live which is a song about people comparing her with her dad.
Lisa Marie has also made other recordings pairing her with Elvis. These include Don't Cry Daddy, and Where No One Stands Alone.
