Indra Daha Mela [] Dahachowk [] Hiking [] इन्द्रदह

Dahachowk is a village and former Village Development Committee that is now part of Chandragiri Municipality in Kathmandu District of central Nepal. It is located in the west of Kathmandu. In the date of every Bhadra Sukla Purnima (fullmoon day), this place takes the important of Indrasthan Mela.
Bhimdhunga Indra Daha Hike is for hiking of Bhimdhunga and Indra Daha, Indra Daha also was known as Daha chowk lies just 6-7 KM Northwest from Kalanki, Kathmandu. It is an exotic place with an abundance of natural beauty and is historically and religiously significant.
Indra Daha itself a religiously significant pond believed to be in existence since Satya Yug. It is believed that god Indra took bath in the pond to get rid of the curse of Gautam Rishi for his infidelity. Nowadays there is a belief that taking bath in the pond will get oneself rid of different diseases.
