After arriving in Austria,do we need to show new funds which is not old than 3 days to get resident card or can we show old funds which we showed before getting resident permit?
Something new I heard... dear so in the beginning we shown the bank statement but after getting visa and arriving in Austria... Should we have to again show the proof of funds? Should that be in Pakistan Bank of mandatory to be in Austrian bank...
Someone said i have to open an account in Austria when i arrive and transfer the POF before i can get the Residence permit, is that true?

People who want to study in Austria, I suggest that they can send email to ask the consulate about the minimum amount of the bank statement. Recently I try to send email to ask about that, they replied me that the minimum amount is HKD 50,000 (EUR6,046). I am preparing to exchange study for 1 semester in Austria!

Agents usually provide wrong information, with inflation and euro's increasing price against Pakistani ruppee you need to have at least €15000 equivalent PKR in your bank account.

I have opened my account in a bank in India a week ago and I will use this as my main account. But it doesn't have any transactions and my appointment is in a month from now (13th April), hence I wouldn't be able to give my bank statement for 3 months, will that be an issue??
Before this, I have been using Paytm bank for all of my transactions.
I never dealt with large transactions before. But now for the Residence permit, I need to show 13-14 lakhs INR , which is not possible in Paytm bank (the limit is only 2 lakhs)

Hi Ahmed! Process still remains the same but most of the Universities here are encouraging of the disabled people. Try checking with the embassy if they have special arrangements for the disabled.

Even for a student visa, if your stay is over 6 months you need to have an approved Residence permit. Permanent residence and residence permit are 2 different things I hope I've made my point clear.

You can do the entire process on your own without consulting any consultant /agent! Most of them have no knowledge about the process and are just sitting to get you an admission letter.
