What if your statement is current, the month you put in d application, will they still call or check d bank
The embassy doesn't call to check balances but calls to verify if is been authorized by the bank manager with his signature and stamps on it. most people come to the bank for a statement but don't let the bank know is for a visa because some banks will charge you for visa statements and others make fake bank statements for themselves. the embassy only calls for the authenticity of your bank statement.

Hi chokor. I arrived in July with the Egypt airline. In Cairo we were 15 people on tourist visa. 13 were all refused boarding except myself and one guy from Cameroon with no reason. Infant I cried whiles in the plane y our own people from 🇪🇬 will treat us like that. Guy avoid this airline at all cost.
but i have read of cases where students who paid full tuition and showed the required yearly living expense be rejected. don't you think there is inconsistency from visa officers also?
If he feels like he was refused without any reason he can hire an immigration lawyer to verify his case

My question is when one is reapplying the second time , can I use two bank statements (from two different banks, both mine ) , I used one of it in my previous application both both bank statements are mine with my name on it . Or is it much more preferable to just stick to the one I used previously and add more funds to it ?

Good afternoon Chorkor Millo, thanks for your time and effort in bringing up this video. Please I want to ask the following question and guidance. My wife just got admission to holland college. I am having challenges with the proof of fund.
* We have some amount of money she got from her father's death benefit. She and her mother are the signatory to the account. However, the name of her father is not tied to her name. She bears her grandfather's name. However, we have a birth certificate in which her father's name was mentioned and a letter of explanation from her mummy to support the claim.
* To meet up with the proof of funds we are considering selling a landed property. But that will be huge sum. Will it be rejected if we show supporting documents because of the huge sum.

Its a breach for the embassy to call the bank to check balances. I think the best they can do is to ask you for another statement. Under the oath of secrecy no third party can ask for any information on an account. The guy can take legal action against the bank that said they called his bank.

No it's not..in most banks you sign a document agreeing for them to share your personal information for security reasons n otherwise

Hello, my name is Lilian. I am in the process of applying for a tourist visa to Canada. Is it okay to just provided my bank statement, 'as it is'. The account is very active but at the time of applying, there is no physical money. Doesn't mean that I can't sponsor my trip. You know what I mean. Is this okay. Chorkor please my girlfriend gave me an invitation letter to come to Brazil via tourist visa. My account is zero right now because I do mobile money always not with my bank. In this case can I use a bank account belonging to someone who will act as my sponsor for the trip

I showed some pay stubs and a bank statement that has 10k Canadian but when I got my refusal note it said that "we do not believe u do not have the funds to tour canada”. Chokor my question is I want to avoid the uploading 6 months bank statement of my sponsor and rather upload that simple bank document called *my bankstatement* which has the account number and a unique code that can be used by the visa officer to check my sponsors bank statement...

But before you go on to apply to a school you might want to look the school up to be sure it’s a designated learning institution and also offers post graduate work permit. Not to worry just go on your browser and type in (DLI school in Canada) then you search the school on there. I hope this helps
