This is what I call, real music. The Derailers are one of the best groups on the planet. They should be on the CMA shows but, they would put a lot of the other groups to shame.

"Bad, Bad Girl" is a Country Rockabilly masterpiece of work! That song alone should have put these guys on the global scale! What does it take man? What does it take!!!

I've followed this great band since day one ever since I read a review of their first album in The Philadelphia Inquirer in advance of their show at Sam Adams bar. Tony was with the group and we miss him. Brian is such a great talent. No disrespect to the keyboardist, who is quite talented, but I prefer the pedal steel.

The Derailers' use of a pedal steel player in live performances has been extremely sporadic. It's never been a core component of the group - I say that acknowledging that I also enjoyed the Derailers' performances with Chris Schlotzhauer, of which I saw several. But not all of their songs really lend themselves to the steel.

Brian is a great Guitarist and his stuff really rocks. Tony was an amazing vocalist and was the stamp on the Derailer's signature sound. Brian needs to bring in a strong vocalist who can play Rhythm which with broaden out the mix and focus on writing and tearing up the Lead. And honestly only one original member of a band should mandate a NEW Band Name. Same with the Fabulous Thunderbirds.

Two original members on this clip.

Whoever owns the band name, owns the band name. I'm sure Tony gave his blessing to Brian to continue as the Derailers, so if you think Brian's taking advantage of Tony, I would beg to differ with you. Whatever you or I might think of the changes Brian's made to the group lineup since Tony's departure, I think it self-obvious that he's doing what he thinks is best for the band and doing what he thinks is necessary to keep things going forward. For the record, the bass player in this performance is Vic Gerard, one of the original members of the Derailers.

They are very good. However, not as good as when Tony was with them.
