HATE was #27 of 33 songs in this 10th anniversary tour finale. Check out the MV entitled FROM NOW ON for a rock/metal/prog gem. You will thank me later. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥Peace. 1.05
These ladies are FIRE!!!!! Be sure to check out Play!, Moratorium, Real Existence (all official live videos) or just randomly pick any video for that matter. They're all fantastic. Looking forward to your next reaction vid. Cheers!
In Japanese, ‘Hate‘ (はて) is an interjection that is used when you are wondering or suspecting something. I noticed that Japanese like puns and BAND-MAID is no exception. Sometimes the Japanese words have the same or almost the same pronouciation than the one in English and sometimes, like in this case, both words are written the same but it’s a different pronounciation. Usually, Miku writes the lyrics of the songs and she likes puns. But this time, Saiki, the lead singer, wrote the lyrics. It’s a combination of puns and punches. You don’t mess with a Kansai raised woman.
Interesting that you mentioned Lovebites. They were in attendance at this concert, Front row of the lower balcony. Also the bad mix is on your end. The mix for the concert is the best live mix they've ever had. On the live stream of this concert it was perfect!
This song was after more than 3h in the show. It was epic. Just watch their usual Last song endless story and you’ll understand the quality of Saki. Her voice was perfect.❤❤❤
The bad thing about seeing Band-Maid live is that as soon as the show ends you start trying to find a way to get tickets to the next show three states away.
I love the storm clouds on the screen behind them - they seem to sum up the lyrics pretty well. I think the question mark means "there's a chance." Hit her up again, buddy! (and a pro tip, hit the gym so you're not quite so limp this time!) I think Kanami likes that model of PRS because the coil taps let her alternate between humbucker and single-coil tones. I echo @jkkansasband7056's recommendation - *"from now on"*
Great reaction and great humor 😂. I really enjoy the mix from this performance. Everything is audible, especially the guitars amd it has as you said a very live performance feel. Hate is also a very dense song, so there is a lot happening at the same time.
😂 💪🔥. Now we are talking. Fyi: I was bored and hoping to find something fun on TH-cam your Band-Maid reaction of Chose me pop up, watched it and whent like 🤷🏻♂️🤦♂️. Still this one is definitely better song and reaction... oh and themix we love it. Note: when you asked about a second guitarist she started playing on the upper side of the stage.
The question mark "Hate?" was a distraction to me. When I heard the first verse, it was like Saki punched me in the face and yelled, "When I hate someone, I Hate Them. The "?" adds to your realization of Saki's genuine hatred when you listen to the song.
The person who asked why you picked this one song may have been stressing the "one," because there is a two-fer video of "Dice" and "Hate?" from the Lollapalooza performance in 2023, so he may have been expecting that one as it has more guitar/bass dueling and a bit of a drum solo.
Yeah, Saiki wrote those lyrics. She was writing about a friend's cheating husband. I watched the live stream of this show and it was a 3 hour show. They were in Yokohama Arena and on a few songs they took turns walking around the arena on the walkway. LoveBites had front row seats which the band did walk past and wave to them. So it was possible to see Band-Maid and LoveBites at the same concert.
If Babymetal fans can advocate for a Band Maid song. so I, as a Maidiac (seniority date 2015) can ask you to do a reaction to the Nemophila song "Rise" (live version that was released on 1/5/24 -- there are other versions of this song available, but do the 1/5 one). Note: Saiki will never go back to this guy; her only possible "return" would be if her friend -- the butcher knife -- accompanies her (although that approach would be more of a Hanabie thing). [While you're doing reactions, check out the Hanabie MV/PV for "Otaku Lovely Denetsu"]. (Band Maid are my Queens, but I also love Lovebites, Nemophila, Hanabie and a ton of others (if you try out the Nemophila and Hanabie songs that I've recommended, just know that both bands are true metal bands that you'll find to be noticeably heavier than most of Band Maid).
It's amazing how Band-Maid has rewritten the laws of nature: Hate brings Love! 😖--->🎀--->😍 📢 RECENTLY ANNOUNCED 📢 -- The Warning, a world-famous band from Mexico, and BAND-MAID will perform a dream two-band show! After meeting on our US tour in 2022, "The Warning" will be making their memorable first visit to Japan with BAND-MAID! Venue: EX THEATER RIPPONGI Date: Jun 12, 2024. -- Incubus and Band-Maid at Tokyo Garden May 1… AND… BAND-MAID will release a new song, "Bestie," co-written with Mike Einziger of INCUBUS, on April 17! -- BAND-MAID HALL TOUR 2024 -- June 28, 2024 (Fri) Nagoya City Public Hall, Aichi, Japan -- July 5, 2024 (Fri) Osaka, Fenice Sakai Main Hall, -- July 14, 2024 (Sun) Kanagawa Kenmin Hall, Kanagawa. Thx, Minters!🤘🤣
After hearing the lyrics for this song, the police started a murder investigation, but no body was ever found. Because that dude was atomized instantly. RIP Bozo
@@MintReactions And that encapsulates the transparently parasitic nature of reactors. You are nothing without the great bands and their music that you talk all over. Nothing.

@rogerchance9074 Yo Roger. If I don't make any comments after 3pm today then that means my special eclipse glasses didn't work. 😎🤪😲
Awesome will do 👍😁

Great music with that banging bass/guitar duel. The lyrics in this are brutal but funny!. Awesome song.
It's not the mix that's off, it's the adolescent practice of compressing the master.

Ohhhh!
Saiki said that’s why the question mark was used; to avoid confusion.

You guys need the Band Maid T shirts that are out there that say "Shut Up Kanami's Speaking" !!!!!!
You see, KANAMI is the one playing the PRS.
@@Greg-om2hb In other words....don't talk during her solo's
Booooo
For your information, a reactor named Ryan Mear created and sells "Shut Up Kanami is Speaking" T-shirts and Coffee mugs.
The Maids are absolutely fantastic

🤘Love Band Maid!!!🤘
Endless story from this concert is song 33 and last song of the concert but if you watch it make sure you have the subtitles on
The bad thing about seeing Band-Maid live is that as soon as the show ends you start trying to find a way to get tickets to the next show three states away.
LOVE BANDMAID FOR LIFE❤❤❤❤❤
If you want to see the end of the show, you have to watch "Endless Story". Sounds different and is very heartwarming.
And you’ll cry.

Will do 👍
No, the question mark is to avoid confusion with a different Japanese word according to Saiki.
The song is most definitely about hating someone.

Yeah I liked it 👍 thank you
Funny that you mentioned love bites.Three of them were there at that show
🫨🫨
'Endless Story' was the last song at the end of the 33 song set.
Jesus chriiiiist
Guys, you still have to practice and practice and practice
Practice makes perfect 💪
Ah, gotcha.
😂 💪🔥.

Not sure how you actually heard the song, talking the entire way through, yikes.
It was pretty easy. We have ears.

The worst mixed live video from BAND-MAID? Nonsense. 🤣
Unwatchable. Too many dopey comments. I’m out.
See yuh 👋
Pause, then review...the talking over the whole show was ridiculous ...
Nice reaction sort of, but to be blunt, shut the hell up during the solos! Thanks.
There's video footage of the solos without our commentary! Check out the video: BAND-MAID / Hate? (Official Live Video) thanks and have a great day! 😁
