You are enlightened the second you understand the concept of non duality. Your duty then is to try not to forget, and adjust your life to follow the flow. No one remains spiritually aware 24/7, it's the small connections we make that lead to a better understanding of the All.

Yes. "Difficulties" arise from believing that you ARE your held positions. Believing that you ARE your opinions. You ARE your judgments. You ARE your feelings. You ARE your resentments. ETC, IDENTIFYING with these things is the ONLY problem. Nothing is a "problem" in and of itself. It is the IDENTIFICATION with the conclusions you have come to that is anxiety-producing. All my videos address this.

that picture of you, so beautiful baba, with your shining eyes. and making this simple gesture to communicate the deepest mystery of our Being. Thank you for this most profound pointer which I will carry with me always.

Les 2 qualités essentielles pour un sain et vrai épanouissement spirituel et personel que j´ai trouvé il y avait plusieurs années ce sont Confiance et Authencité. Ici, il en confirme l´une des 2.

i really love that idea now! Just running to run. If you run and are fully present it could be an exquisite experience! Guess that is true with all living fully in the present and appreciating beauty of nature and beauty of life.

Truth teachings are a paradox of instruction in the sense that it is well understood within the teachings that the tendency of the aspirant upon hearing of the instruction not to seek would then immediately make an effort not to seek and therefore succumb to the paradox and become stuck. Truth teachings have never intended to bind their recipients, it is Enlightened instructions to be Free surely. But it always takes place deeply and personally in the individual ultimately, Truth teachings are merely to encourage and instill Faith and to remain vigilant and strong.

it is wordless, but expressed through emotion and perception, its great...and kind of like how Forest Gump just ran to run

Soon you will realize that peace and happiness are in your very nature and it is only seeking them through some particular channels that disturbs. Avoid the disturbance, that is all. To seek there is no need; you would not seek what you already have. You yourself are God, the Supreme Reality. To begin with, trust me, trust the teacher. It enables you to make the first step - and then your trust is justified by your own experience. - Nisargadatta

Yes I agree. The feeling that "somethings wrong" is a fiction of the small self, the storyteller, the ego. Whats wrong, you never figure out or solve because it doesn't actually exist. It gets projected onto the external world but its origin and undoing lies in the self.
I was confused because I judged the book incorrectly. I thought the author believes "the problem" actually exists, and locates the origin of "the problem" in the external world.

concept of spiritual awakening = SHOULD BE RESPECT FOR OTHERS ONLY THIS QUALITY COMES WITH THE GOOD GRACE OF NAURE AND NATURES GOOD GRACE .

by far, the best method of waking up is to be tricked into it. Facing the ego directly (using the ego, hello?) is the most arduous.

when i first watching that part of Forest Gump i didnt understand it but now i think i do. he just did what his heart wanted to do and there wasnt any other reason than his heart wanted to do it.

If I want to be free from fear and let go of will, but I upkeep habits that are in contradiction to flow, does that mean I want a dream world instead of truth?

  • @squamish4244

I don't want to have my life ruled by fear anymore. That's why I'm on the path, primarily.

I get a glimpse, but most times I don't have a freakin' clue. What I am clear about is that I am being guided and learning to trust the nameless path and process. I do agree with Adya that I am coming in to my own dance ... well I willing to own it since I've been doing the dance since . . .

What is it about to you ?Think to a lot it is like a mystery novel they come across on the Internet, then they get hooked on it; the book called Invisible Man would be a good metaphor.

if you can't tell how it awakens by the title, then you are a good candidate to read it. :o) It is hilarious, BTW. You should totally get it. It is tiny and reads in under an hour. Don't read any reviews or the preface or anything; just start with chapter 1 and read thru to the end. And keep certain people you know in mind as he describes these difficult-to-deal-with personality types.

how does "one" get tricked into awakening?

  • @Simon0
    @Simon0 13 ปีที่แล้ว

thats so funny! This is totally me. I was talking all about awakening to my sister.. and she said, what do you mean by awakening. And i thought about it and realised i have no idea! Its kind of chasing something without even really thinking about what you are chasing.

    and this
Don’t you see that it is your very search for happiness that makes you feel miserable? Try the other way: indifferent to pain and pleasure, neither seeking, nor refusing, give all your attention to the level on which ‘I am’ is timelessly present...

so the difficult person is yourself?
I was unsure of this book because judging from the title, I thought it was a self help book which found the origin of the illusory "problem" in the external world, instead of seeing it as a creation of the ego/story teller creating the illusion that there is a problem through its constant running commentary

Only the phonies don’t get enlightened. That’s a cutting statement indeed. Starts my mind thinking I’ll be hopefully I’m not one of the phonies.

Not kidding. However, it helps immensely if the target subject is deeply ego-identified and convinced that the behavior/attitude of others is the source of his anxiety. (Author: Murray Oxman)
