In the DVD commentary, Tom Savini said the the fake blood they used in real life looked fantastic, but on film, it looked like weird liquified Play-Dough. Apparently, they bought so much of the stuff, they had to use it again in _Martin_
I work in a mall, in retail and I can remember on boxing day looking over a cutaway to the main floor and seeing crowds. Packed in, no worry for the fact that there was a pandemic and I actually said "They're us, we're them and they're us." Now I know I confused NOTLD '90 with Dawn of the Dead '78, but I think the point is made. None of them were there for any reason, they were there because it was boxing day. All the good reasons to stay away were subordinate to the ritual. You go to the mall on boxing day. *Shudder*
You should call this “Eli Roth won’t let rob zombie get a word in about dawn of the dead”.
I love Eli but ya LOL
It's the greatest movie ever made. A true masterpiece of cinema, not just horror.
This is my favorite zombie horror movie directed by George a Romero from 1978. When there’s no more room in hell the dead will walk the earth.
Happily met 3/4 of the cast in 2023. I started saying that epic line, and bless him, Ken finished it for me!

One of THE BEST of the genre. Bar NONE!!!
My favorite horror film and I cannot find it anywhere 😭😭😭
It’s on TH-cam
They used to show it on the IFC channel back in the 90s. Now you can't find it ANYWHERE on cable, movie channels, or ondemand. Nowhere.
There's about 3 different versions on TH-cam. It shouldn't be too hard to find.
@@rjayyyy9623there's like 7 different versions of it on TH-cam even a fan made version with a perfect soundtrack sync & a Blk n White version!!!!!
@@rjayyyy9623there’s way more than that too. different cuts, different commentaries, even the documentary about making it.
