so stupid question, i have watched a few other videos on this but something that was never said on all of them is, do you drill out on both raves? and then where do you blobl off the line of the solenoid?
Hey interesting video. So I have two 951 gtx’s that are both rebuilt, however both continuously keep burning up exhaust sleeves down toward the end of the exhaust. I’ve had them to a shop twice to change the exhaust hoses. After googling I read that when they burn up exhaust hoses it’s almost always because the rave valves are stuck or broken . Any advice?
Hey man I was searching up some thing for my 99 seadoo xp I was wondering if you had a twitter or Instagram where I could DM you I have some questions about the rave valves
your description of which hole to drill is different from others, i believe you got it right!
Hole size is significantly larger... Why do you think it's right?
Will that stop the water regulator from working properly if it’s not hooked up to the pulse line or solenoid??

Do you need to make any carburetor adjustments after this mod?

You want to look at your water regulator valve, it may not be working. Looks just like the rave valves but it's on the waterbox.
great video on the rave valves. quick question. do you know what the compression should be on a stock 98 xp 951?
120 psi I think
I believe your supposed to use 787 springs after doing this mod being they are a little stiffer
do you need to care about water getting in the hole you drilled?
No because it is sealed from there down
