Yeah I didn’t need to do that as mine sits fine flat on the floor and I want to be able to move it. That just keeps it from tipping forward

I bought the same and I have been having issues with the thermostat. The heater cuts on and off ,on and off constantly...Any ideas?
I have not had that issue. I do know it is set to cut off after a certain amount of time to prevent a hazard.
Can you tell me if you turn the fan off does it still give off radiant heat?

Could you tell me what to do my fireplace is electric I have a still flame it just lights up an heats great but do not have a roaring flame

How is the brightness? Reviews complain about it
I have no complaints. It’s not a video screen so you won’t get that big bustling flame, but I like it.
