glad to have found you at the beginning of your journey! I'm sure you've already been told loads, but I would re-consider the front cab partition. If you ever need to leave quickly and don't want to get out to get back in, then you want a way of getting to the front cab - maybe a door as a compromise? Also, 'curling' up for bed may work for a day or two, even a week, but not long term, your knees will hate you. Worth a consideration?
you said you are leaving the partition wall in for added security. while this for sure makes it harder to get into the back from the front, it also makes it harder, well, impossible, to get to the front from the back. so, if you ever get into a situation you need to quickly drive out of, it won't be possible without leaving the van first. Also, the Sprinter is relatively small and the cab area could be part of the living space, especially with swivel front seats.
@@orange13 very true. We were meaning more security from people seeing in. Front swivel would be nice but it’s a bench seat currently so it would be a lot of effort, plus a lot harder to insulate
@@wagstaffmedia you can just add a curtain behind the seats for privacy while still have easy access to the driver's seat. I'm really looking forward following your build.
Sprinters are not particularly small - coming in different lengths - but rather narrow. And expensive. And overengineered. And the engine is hard to work on, needs a surgeon rather than a mechanic. That's why the mechatronics at the Mercedes agents are wearing white, not blue.
Have enjoyed the account of your van conversion and prep ... looking forward to seeing your adventures in the future!
Glad I got recommended this. Good luck and can't wait to see the build! 💯
Nice rig to begin your journey. Enjoy!
Congratulations! Looks like a nice vehicle. Looking forward to seeing the build progress.
Awesome. I miss those days. My van is 90% done now. I look forward to seeing your future adventures. Happy new Aussie subscriber here
cannot wait to follow along!!!!

Nice Sprinter Van would loved to bought a newer one but its way too expensive in Norway. Let the Adventure begin and convert this Van ❤🙏
Hi will you be vlogging the van build completely? Was thinking of subscribing that’s all. I’m doing up my 2023 sprinter now too… but I’m in Australia
Yes will be doing build/update videos every 1-2 weeks!
Love these Mercedes Sprinter vans! Looking forward to seeing your build-out!
Excited to see your improvements and adventures! Great video, love the humour and the casualness.

Oh my god, that's a lot of miles for one year, someone has definitely given that thing a good flogging
@@georgesdesk Yep, 2000 engine hours so about 5 hours a day, every day since it was bought 16 months ago
Prolly mostly highway/interstate, so the mileage doesn't matter too much.
Nice. ❤
I want one too
