Rebuilds should never be watched before the series, they contain heavy spoilers for original and story wise they are somewhat like what S;G 0 is to original S;G, they don't work as a replacement for original but as a supplement instead.

" I am so fucked up"- Shinji This same thing came into my mind when I watched Evangelion series, then I was such a asshole that by watching first 5 minutes of Neon Genesis Death and Rebirth I thought it's just movie version of the anime and skipped it and watched End of Evangelion ... That movie made no sense at all to me at that time , even the series was quite hard to figure out what is going on during last 7 episodes... End of Eva blasted my head and I didn't got a thing what the hell is going , why this Shinji isn't taking any action(that time also understood his trauma ) , where Gendo is taking Rei to , Gendo was two timer( wife and his collogue too) , Why is Asuka's out of her mind(is she crazy well she was though in through out the series) , why there two wars happening side by side (one side Eva vs Angles and other side Soldiers vs scientists and workers ) , why world converted into large size Rei , why a Eva is tearing an eye of that angle , and lots of nudity..... This is (not) a biased comment 3.0+1.0 really did felt complete although how much ever 3.33 made things complex, but taking so long to make a 2.5 hrs long movie to conclude Eva as a franchise did justice. Rebuild series as a whole feels complete and brings oyt so much more which the original run struggled to explain and the additional changes with plot and characters went on to make it better. maine "EVANGELION" ke chaaro*4 Movie parts dekh liye hai. Aur behtarin hai, chaaro*4 parts. (Because Maine "Movies hee dekhi" aur usski Series aur movies nahi dekhi toh ,😐).
But, First Movie or Second Movie ek-dum Behtarin hai, aur mere liye 3rd Movie Confusing thi, and 4th Movie toh thhodi bahut sir ke uppar se nikal gai. 😅 Lekin fir bhi kahoo ek number Movie Series hai.😍🔥🔥 and now I am watching again one more.😁
