I really miss the 90s and early 2000s. I joined the Marine in 1999 and had a blast Times were simpler. No cell phone or no social media. We pick up a landline to phone friends and go out . If we traveled we looked at maps to plan routes and didn't rely on GPS. Some young adults can't even read a map today. I would give up technology today to go back to those days. These commercials bring me back to a better time and better world.

Two boxes of VHS tapes with recordings dating to October '83 were lost to time when we moved in 2003. I'd have converted the old shows to digital if the tapes hadn't been unceremoniously thrown away.
