It's My Show with Suraj Singh Thakuri is a new hit Nepali television talk show. In this program, Suraj interviews various guests from various fraternity by inviting him to the program's set. Like every TV programs hosted by Suraj Singh Thakuri, It's My Show has been superhit Nepali show from it's first episode and liked by Nepalese and Non-Nepalese throughout the world. It is the first program in Kantipur TV since it has gone HD. This episode of It's my show with Suraj Singh Thakuri was broadcasted on Kantipur TV HD at 9:00pm on 28 December 2019.

I am so glad he is speaking Nepali so genuinely unlike some of us who jabarjasti front a fake accent after staying a few years abroad. PG is a superstar and yet has such a humility which I think is very attractive . I used to appreciate Suraj Singh Thakuri a lot in the Call Kantipur days. Its nice of him trying to come up with a show like this but he needs to learn a lot about interviewing and making his show more interesting. Do not interrupt the guest so often. As an interviewer, be a good listener and get engaged in order to bring out more from the guest. It's about them, not about you. I don't know but I always feel like SST always kinda takes things personally when his guests start talking about something he doesn't agree with. Tbh I think this show has a lot of potential given the better interviewing skills which I think he is capable of learning. Being humble can be one of the things to start with. For this interview, I would have enjoyed more questions on fashion but as always SST goes way off topic. Kind & Constructive criticism here.
Not only that, 99 % of his guests who he invited to his shows are his buddies. He invites them, talk to them like a light-hearted chat at a pub in the evening. All buddies so require no biopic research in advance, cost-effective & feel stronger in the chair because you know them well. Having said that, I am still his great fan. He still has that opportunity to bring a massive change in the talk show. My advice as a fan, he must rise above his comfort zone. He needs to hunt people like Mahabir Pun who rose above from the ashes extraordinary guests who are not his school friends who we never heard & seen in the mainstream but has a tremendous contribution to the society we live in today. 1974 Ad & Yogeshowre Amatya, these guys are all top-notch who needs no more cushioned platform to get an intro. Sorry if misunderstood your version Mr. Thakuri.

You don’t have to hug him as if he is your friend, looks awkward and not professional at all. There are so many things wrong with this show in different levels. SST’s intellectuality , lack of professionalism, respect towards the guest, very light-weighted questions, frequent interruptions etc. The setup and format seems very formal but the way the interview is conducted is vey casual. I mean you could be casual but not as if your are speaking to someone in a bar. Thanks to the humbleness of PG, you got a chance to bring him to the show. PG is very down to earth and speaks Nepali so fluently. Anyways , all the best for future episodes. 🙂🙂

I was really excited when I heard Suraj coming with a new show back then and watched the initial episodes of the show throughly but couldn’t watch any more of it because of how he freakking interrupts his guests, doesn’t really try to get more from the guests. He definitely lives by the name of his show “ ITS MY SHOW” ho ho hajur hanuman hajur kai show ho, Tapai nai bolera basnus.
Ps: Just came back because of PG and with a slight hope that he changed. But no Hanuman ajhai ustai raichan. If you really care about your viewers just scroll down your comment section Suraj Singh!!

Mr. Suraj Singh Thakuri, please get some training on professionalism. Not every guest in your show are your buddies. We watch and listen to them as respected celebrities. We don’t need to know your personal relationship with them. It doesn’t matter to us how you are related to them. Please greet them politely and formally in front of camera. Also let them finish before you interrupt. Thanks!

I can only sympathise him. I watch this show to see how the guest reached this level to be a guest and not your interruption Suraj. Let them speak. Or may be you can run another show where you interview yourself and you can talk all the time.

There were soo many moments in this interview which were SNAPPED because of the interruptions from the host! It’s a general rule of thumb - let him/her complete the damn sentence. Watch good talk shows and do your research on how to interject IF needed.
