A spell of Vertigo caused Sunshine to end the day earlier than expected, and Captain had to carry Sunshine's pack the rest of the way.

Good job Largo...you adapted, stepped up and handled it.
My son voluntarily carried my pack once we hit vertical and nothing huge rocks near the table top of Mount Katahdin. I was humbled by his strength and love. But I will never forget him saying… if it wasn’t for you pushing me I would have stopped miles ago as it was treacherous, and I would have never seen the summit! Captain is there for you as a loving son that is quite evident. Trail magic is the bomb!

I get awful vertigo, I know how you feel. So glad it didn't get worse. You need to try and stay calm. Stress can make it worse. You need to keep some Bonnie/meclizine with you for dizziness/vertigo. Get some rest. Safe travels.

So glad the dizziness didn't turn into vertigo but I'm sure that was a scary moment for you both. Also, had to laugh at "You're not even a shuttle driver? We'll who are we with?" 😂 I've seen Matt in another thru-hiker's vlog doing trail magic. So cool!!!!!

Glad the vertigo did not manifest. I know that feeling. Question: have you seen many hikers with their dogs? Wondering if thru-hiking with a dog would be impossible. Stay safe and healthy Captain and Sunshine!
I think you need to start mentally adjusting your expectations for community on the trail. If you're feeling lonely or disconnected in the Shenandoah in the middle of summer there's going to be an order of magnitude fewer people in NH / Maine in the late fall!!
awe, I suffer from vertigo, though for me the Epley Maneuver, while makes me almost sick to the tummy, it's works like magic for me.

I love the channel. I respectfully need to address the berries on trail.... Wild animals forage for their meals, they cannot pack it in from town.... Just saying. I'm an avid hiker from upstate NY, I know it's tempting but leave it wild unless it life sustaining. Only my opinion. Still love the walking and talking vlogs. God bless.😊

Hiker Hunger reminds me of server Hunger, back with I served at super busy large restaurants. Burned so many calories every day and you wanted to eat everything in sight
