Go hiking must bring water and dry food like biscuits or bread that can last 3 meals. And a set of dry clothing, rain coat, wind breaker or something that can keep you warm at night. Touch light is optional and a spare set of handphone battery or battery bank. Have a map apps installed on your handphone with GPS tracking capability and/or navigation feature for walking (e.g. Google map). Just in case you get lost inside the forest. Water is important and need to drink even if you are not that thirsty because some people may not detect they have heat stroke till it is too late.

I've always loved this trail. It's slightly dangerous on some parts on the small windy roads, and also the part that's close to the military base... but the rest of it is so beautiful. Thanks for walking it for us!

Hi, thanks for sharing your utube video again. It’s ok to wear tshirt inside out sometimes, hahas people do that by mistake sometime. ST Engineering is a GLC (government linked company). They have branches that produce weapons like SAR21, armoured vehicles, etc. for the Singapore's army. So maybe the location you went there is a sensitive branch hence the tight security.
They also sell weapons to US army hence its a highly security sensitive place
