Just started playing yesterday and was disappointed with the lack of non-imperial factions, definitely looking forward to non-imperial factions to get to play
Honestly cant wait for all this. On one note though for a personal wish of mine. You mentioned that the Corellians being one way or another is going to be a random storyline quest if I'm not mistaken. I understand that the mod is trying to stay to legends and canon stuff but for me I'd personally be interested in seeing a resurgence of the kaminoans. In legends they rebelled against the empire with a new clone army. I'd love to see them come back in this kind of way in a random chance that they spawn and it's all clone wars era units and ships. Maybe even a few new units like kaminoan infantry and ships designed by them. And if they were playable that of course would be a bonus.
Kamino is a single, by this point entirely irrelevant planet- they're much smaller than any of the powerbases of even our smallest playable factions, and generally even smaller than some other factions which existed but aren't enough to make the playable cut (Mandalorians), or even some that don't make the non-playable cut.
@@CoreyLoses Maybe it could be a case where if you conquer Kamino, you can produce clone units on that planet? Honestly with the faction limit removed it should be possible to combine FotR and TR into one roster, though the balancing and ship scaling would probably be borked.
I think it would be interesting, for the Vong ships, to get inspiration from the Wraiths' ships in Stargate Atlantis, which are themselves organic. It could be a great mashup, giving them more of a blueish look ^^
PEople make the kinds of mods they want to make, joining a larger team means you're less likely to get exactly what you want, and at a certain point mod teams, like anything else, can be too big where it's too hard to manage what's going on and there's too many competing ideas.

The Hutts used to have a huge empire would be cool to see them try and rekindle that. Also yay the dushkan league they are so almost comically evil I missed them.
Ok, so this video cleared up an oddity with your video regarding updating Imperial Warlord faction fleet rosters that included the Eriadu Authority. The update to the Eriadu Authority fleet roster did not make sense with the prior knowledge that they were slated to be cut as a playable faction.
Corey said a couple months back when the most recent update to EaW itself came out the limit to factions got increased from a glitched 16 to essentially 100, and that as a result EA wouldn’t be cut and they were free to add a bunch of other factions.
Who will the Chiss have for heroes? I’m sure they’ll have Formbi, maybe Twesk, but who else? Will you create fanon heroes or take some from the Canon Ascendancy Trilogy? You also mentioned EotH ground reworks. What will that look like? Will they still have exclusively Chiss for their infantry? Will they have A-racks or Imperial Troop Carriers like in the books? And I assume that you want to stick away from Stormtroopers for them? Even though they seem to have used a lot of Stormtroopers, I get that you want them to be more unique compared to the Imperials. Is there any possibility of seeing Troukree, Stromma or Eikaries as infantry for them?
Can't wait for the GC where it's all factions _except_ the Empire, warlords and NR (and EotH?) duking it out in a free for all, akin to 'Empires at War'.
Are there any ideas towards modifying galactic campaign faction interactions? With so many factions it's very unfortunate that there's really no way to form alliances between factions, the Empire of the Hand and the Chiss Ascendency for example should be naturally allied and have some kind of political interactions, but in the EAW system one would always just be the natural first conquest for the other.
Will the ai for non playable factions be increased bc I don't ever see the Japan's in the current version invade any planet I don't want a strong ai don't get me wrong but that they put some sort of danger to you and don't be like independent forces with a slot lol
@@CoreyLoses that is cool. By the way did you have any plan to introduce more minor imperial faction like the second imperium or the moff council that supported triclops.
Looks like you guys finally balanced the hapans :D Battle Dragons were a joke a few patches ago, thank goodness they dont expand by themselves. on the other hand, the 3 battle dragons still pretty easily shot down an isd2 and a victory 2. i know its hard to account for in a game, but the battle dragons were described as notoriously inaccurate, somehow making their ridiculous armament for their size less OP. i really hope you considered that, the battle dragons really were a complete joke in most patches, no matter which approach the player took.
Hapes: Will Hapans get more planets? Also as in EU will thier Ion be stronger than other fractions but with less turbo laser DPS? Also any hints on gov mechanics? Also do they get any modifiers due to how female dominant they are? Also do you have a timeline on what faction will be implemented in order obviously with no dates?
I just want to ask Corey is there ever a way to have era progression and heroes with a single planet start. I won’t pretend I know how hard it might be to do, but wanted to ask if it is possible or doable.
It would be very cool if you add the actual first order and the resistance since I don't think that they are worth for an entire new mod. It would be really cool to see canon and legends civilizations one against the other
If we ever did it it'd be more work to try to work them onto TR than their own mod. They'd still have to have all the different units and mechanics, and different GCs, the only difference is we'd have to do even more work to get around game limitations and try to design their war around mechanics we have in TR rather than what makes sense for them.
@@CoreyLoses odd question as it seems the empire stagnates on making newer ships later on after the dark empire phase would you guys consider adding things like the resurgance as later made imperial ships? oviously not the big ship i forget the name of just a thought as that seems the ship most folks want.
@@CoreyLoses oh, cool. I didn't come around to see your last video about RR, and than forgot about it until your answer just now. Thats another reason to watch it asap.
They've said that several factions are planned to get boarding shuttles in a few videos. And I'm like 90% sure Hapes was specifically mentioned in that context. So you can probably assume so. In the lore they never built their own ISDs but they did capture several. So it would make sense for them to have the shuttles.
Your ground situation is a mess. Its a pain in the but manage. You have added a lot of resource building but when you look at what your dealing with on some of these planets ground slot it become nightmare to have to manage. You have all these build to make that are important to generate troops and food etc and you have on average 2 to 4 slots. I put GC down and played the skirmish mode. My advice is to give all planets no less than 6 slots as a base if your going to add all of that to the game.
You generally only need one of each resource structure per ~10 planets, and planets actually tend to have 3-5 slots, mostly 4-5, and even a bunch with 6. Considering there's only one planet in the mod's files with 2 slots at all, and it's not even used on any maps (Manaan), I don't know where you could possibly get the idea that the "average" is 2-4.. Unless you're significantly mismanaging your resources and ground slots, you have way more than enough slots on planets to have both production and resources built up. If we increased that to *no fewer* than 6 you'd have way more slots available than you ever did before we added any resources (part of the point of which was to make planet development take slightly more thought than "spam all the things everywhere"), and every single ground battle would turn into a huge grindy siege, which is absolutely the opposite of what we want.
Idk how I feel about space dinosaurs. I kinda dislike them as a concept like the Vong but I could be just in the minority. Having alien factions is cool but having raptors with lasers feels absurd. I won’t mind Star Wars like raptor CREATURES but carrying weapons? I do like having the Chiss and the Hutts flushed out more as unique factions with the Hapes. I really hope Corey is careful with some of the stranger elements of the extended universe. I hope this doesn’t lead into space zombies (I’m not talking about the rat ghouls).

The Hapans don't have any AI on the Galactic layer at all at the moment. That's why you don't see them do anything
Do you have any plans for the vagaari and nuso esva? Both of these factions could make the unknown regions more interesting.
Not as playable factions, but hopefully for some independent forces.
@@CoreyLoses that is cool. By the way did you have any plan to introduce more minor imperial faction like the second imperium or the moff council that supported triclops.
Will the zero command come to tr as non playable in 3.2
hyped for the hutts !
will the corallian faction have the Torpedo Sphere?
Looks like you guys finally balanced the hapans :D
Battle Dragons were a joke a few patches ago, thank goodness they dont expand by themselves.
on the other hand, the 3 battle dragons still pretty easily shot down an isd2 and a victory 2. i know its hard to account for in a game, but the battle dragons were described as notoriously inaccurate, somehow making their ridiculous armament for their size less OP. i really hope you considered that, the battle dragons really were a complete joke in most patches, no matter which approach the player took.
Hapes:
Will Hapans get more planets?
It would be really cool to see canon and legends civilizations one against the other
as the sequel era develops both factions will have more content to work with to inspire expansions line this
If we ever did it it'd be more work to try to work them onto TR than their own mod.
Is the a rough guesstimate to when this could be releasing?
who are the kilux? idk if im spelling it right.
giant space ants
GIMMIE DEM HUTTS
When will the league return?
what's the possibility of adding diplomacy?????!!
With multiple factions coming will multiple factions become playable in the same release?
Are the Hapans a result of a trekkie switching up franchises?
Is it possible to introduce diplomacy to the game?
Depends on what specifically you're looking for from diplomacy.
Will Leia ever be a hero you can use?
She is. If you mean as a jedi? I hope so. But, she is in the mod as a playable hero (she gets two noghri assassins spawning with her).
@@alukenbachauthor when do you get her like which era

No mandalorians?
They're not really in contention as a galactic power at this point.
@@CoreyLoses Do we have a chance to see them in Revans Revenge?
Yes, we've already shown a lot of their stuff
@@CoreyLoses oh, cool. I didn't come around to see your last video about RR, and than forgot about it until your answer just now. Thats another reason to watch it asap.
@@CoreyLoses I would prefer them to the hapes or corellians
Will the Hapes get ISD or boarding Shuttles to take over ships.
They've said that several factions are planned to get boarding shuttles in a few videos. And I'm like 90% sure Hapes was specifically mentioned in that context. So you can probably assume so. In the lore they never built their own ISDs but they did capture several. So it would make sense for them to have the shuttles.
How can I play this?
A HUNDRED slots.... W H Y even? Lmfao
DA VONG
we need mando's
They'll be playable in Revan's Revenge.
@@CoreyLoses nice i love the mods you guys do great work 😁
Isn't it posible when you have mondolore as a plantet that you get a mando unit that is recrutible only there
Mandalorians? I miss RotM.
@@CoreyLoses this was not my experience. It was completely unenjoyable to manage. I just stick with skirmish mode.
@@My2CentsYallSkill issue.
