Thank you SO much for this tutorial. I made four of them tonight and they are so easy and fun! I wanted to share with you that I have been using all the extra fabric from each shirt to sew in a soaker to the inside layer of each diaper! So, there is still the double pocket for extras if needed, but there is at least 8 layers of extra cotton shirt in there sewn in already!! LOVE it so much!
I have a bunch of t-shirts I never wear and need to declutter. Since I am making diapers for my niece ready to pop, I can sdd some of these to her stash. 👼👍🥰
@@elizabethsingler5235 Did you do the casing then serge or the other way around? getting confused by other videos.. was hoping someone used this pattern and used a serger..
I was looking for simple fitted diaper and I found it here! :) Love it! But I don't know why my snappi is not working well with that kind of fabric. It's making holes and not catching. Have you ever had that kind of problem? Can I solve it? I've used jersey t-shirt 100% of cotton. Greets from Poland! :)
Frustrating to see that the video links to a "free" pattern that is normally $8 and on "sale" for $1.99. Apparently "Mommy Can't Do It" even though she said she would.
It's easy enough without a pattern- just copy the same general shape onto the fabric with chalk/disappearing pen/washable marker if nothing else, or use the back of wrapping paper or even newspaper, cut that out, put it on top of your fabric/t-shirt, and cut it out with a very wide margin. Then see if it needs tweaked and cut it how it needs to be cut, then trace that piece to get your pattern so you can make more of the same size. Hope that helps.

you made that look so easy.. I love it
To get your diapers properly cleaned you need to remove the inserts before you wash them.
What size shirt did you use? Abs where can I find that pattern?
Would this work with making a casing for elastic and then serging it?
Andrea Louw I have! :)

You make that look so easy! I'm going to give it a try. The fitteds online are so expensive
You can do it!
